  1. cheers pal you cant beat it when you catch a rabbit in nets you've made
  2. I used to do it a lot Rob though it is dependant on the type of warrens your ferreting.........it can be action packed in the right areas. Yeah, the farm I go on had a lot of warrens actually in the hedgerows themselves, netting them was a ball ache, took forever and resulted in plently of tangles, should be easier with the dog on those warrens because I can cover a fair few warrens and any bolters are running into fields with no cover around. The other land I ferret has some exits in the open and some near cover so I'll net the ones near cover and leave the others open. Really looking
  3. good luck for the weekend pal atb for the season

  6. me and my nephew decided last night that we'd have a few hours ferreting this morning so we were up by 6am and at the first set by about 6.30am we desided to start on a local playing field where there seems to be quite a few rabbits at. we did the first three sets and nothing at home which was a suprise as all the holes seemed to be clean and had fresh dropping around them. we moved on to the fourth set it was a 4 holer we netted up with some brand new hemp nets which id just made a few weeks ago and entered the sandy hob ferret iv got it was in about 2 mins then we heard bumping and a rabbit
