    Slightly wandering off the thread a bit I know but this stuff is good for courts and runs. It's called cushion bed and made by a form called Giffords. I bought 2 big bales (20kg each) and it cost just over £7. Brilliant stuff. http://www.giffords.biz/bed/bed1.htm

    After a fair while away from the noble art of rabbit worrying I decided this year to get back into it. So this year saw my plan of action being developed. Persuade the mrs that its a good idea. She takes some convincing as all she can see is a shed full of guns, fishing tackle, camo gear etc etc...... Build a hutch and court. Source some good nets and a locater. Get me some furry friends.     I've got one and I think they are really good. I woould say that if you aren't going out for long periods then get the GL2, it's shorter and lighter plus it will cost less in batteries.

    I suppose it'll still be good for sub 12ft lb rifles out to 30/35 yds. Just think for £400 you could shoot all day and night long. I think the cost of the unit would be chicken shit to the cost of the divorce that might follow.

    Has anyone used that new Nite Site in Septembers Airgun Shooter magazine? I tried to get a proper look at it at the Midland game fair but the stand was always packed. It looks good to me but £400 is a fair bit to shell out on new kit.

    I've just bought a mk3 ferret finder of fleabay and I've got a question about what collars to get. I bought just the reciever only which is grey and has "ferret finder 3" printed on it but when I phoned Deben they said that mine must be a mk2 because it doesn't have a variable pitch knob on the underside (she said all mk3's have the pitch control). So the question I have is: Is it a MK3, and was this just an early version? What collar should I be getting? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Is yours the one with the red bulb? Scott Yes it is, I would have prefered the white bulb and fitted a red filter but it was cheap and I would have been a fool to turn it down. What I normally do is go to the spot where bunnies gather and get in position then I use my aldi night vision to spot a likely victim, put the night vision down then turn on the Ledray.

    I've got a Ledray GL4 and it works a treat. I tape the switch to the pistol grip and away you go, not bad price wise either. The only down side is the batteries that can cost a bit but fleabay has loads of people selling them off cheap.
