    your best bet is to ask if you can see both parents work, and if your happy your happy, but it doesnt mean that your pup will be as good as the both parents, but atleast you have little bit of piece of mind

    seen some vids of racing whippets afterwards have a right crack at one another..i wouldnt say their not game either..some big dogs wont go for fox, but some whippets will? how can you determine whether a whippet is or isnt game? and that you need a bigger dog? if some big dogs dont want a sniff? just to add that i know if both big lurcher and whippet went for fox that the quicker outcome would be the lurcher before you say anything..

    havent had much time to get about with the car being on the last legs lol but shes had a few runs on rabbits and what not.. still seems as though she needs to mature a tad bit more, but she 17-18months now, so soon as my car is sorted il be flat out then with her, nice steady bitch and the reason i took time with her is because shes 29" tts lol and she still seemed like bamby at 12 months haha

    i got a bitch of this cross, threw more to the greyhound, deerhound temprament, untill shes off the lead shes like a little ball of fire, and seem to be very keen, i havent rushed mine either, some would say im taking the piss, but its my first lurcher, and want to do everything as right as i possibly can, instead of ruining her..il upload a pic

    More than most lurchers....... yeah thats right, because most people on here only ever talk shit, and think their dog is the buisness and catch hares with ease, iand its not the case,obviously there is lurchers out there far better for hares than a whippet.

    depends if you want it light, short, long, heavy lol synthetic or wood ... but if you aint fussy and just want something to shoot with..any gun these days are cracking guns tbh, within reason..all down to personal prefferance,so just look for a bargain, that guy up there ^^ selling thats sounds about right , i use a gaystate...which needs to be put over a TIDY effin chrono with some bisley mags..lol

    i dont think you could class track dogs with actual working dogs, i could be wrong but i think the track dogs are trained on sprints rather than the distance a dog would/could run on a hare sometimes...

    i dont believe that whippets dont have enough stamina...pound for pound the fastest sighthound, and their chests are deeper than most lurchers used "to catch regular" , for their size, i have no doubt that a whippet will catch hares regular, more than most lurchers,. down to speep, turning ability and a big chest for quick time recovery, in my opinion !

    lol i agree..bull breeds aint all bad aslong as brought up correctly, but can easily be dangerous with power i suppose, thats why people are so scared of them, cos they see gangstahs bruv on da streets livin it up, pass dee dutchy to da left hand side ! lol

    i stopped a gypsy boy in a fight, in cardiff when i used to box, about 14- 15 i think i was lol dropped him in first and ref classed it as a slip, 2nd round he had the right hook, and fell flat on his face...ref got him up give him a little nod etc, in the end his gym threw the towel in, there was no gutts in him atall..it was a stupid match up, and im not bragging btw...just stating a fact that we're all human and just because there travellers/gypsys doesnt mean their untouchable...like i said ..we're all human!!

    iv download a pdf from daystate club, how to polish the hammer and re adjust power levels, but dont really want to attempt it...if thats what you ment by 3/4ft lbs tune

    its the probe rings , i dont know what you mean by Daystates can be fine tuned 3/4 ft lb here or there quite easily, google is your friend, Worth doing if you are replacing the rings anyway. im new to pcps aint got the foggiest mate any info will be taken in...

    wasnt happy , chrono'd it wasnt constistant atall the highest ftlbs was 10.78ft lbs with croman magnums 10 grains or so...dread to think what it is with lighter pellets.. done a tissue test on it an to find the seal is f****d..blowing back like a bitch..lovely jubbly some new O rings have been ordered...i thought it was accurate...and the few off shots put it down to me, or dodgy pellets,some readings were 10.2 some were 10.36.and some were 10.6 and so on, would this affect the accuracy alot?or was the poor shots down to pellets/me ...how could of i have damaged the O ring? i have had a pelle
