  1. I Agree that Chipping is a good thing to do, and that tattooing is probably even better, But how many of you have been asked to prove ownership of your dog... I.E. You go to a new vets or any vets and you have to register your dogs with them and they have your address, have they then gone on to scan your dog, to confirm that you are the owner.....?? Someone i know had a cat for around 10 years, the cat addopted her and just stayed, She in turn looked after it and took it to the vets, when it was ill and for jabs and such like, then just by chance it was scanned for a chip, and it did
  2. I`de say that a good Airedale X will offer all a good Bull X can offer, I.E. Bone/strenth, prey drive, Brains..!!! size, with the added bonus of good coat, and the ability to be able to take your dog out in public without Knowing looks from Antis and even other lurcher owners, who most believe that a Bull X is only good for one thing and all their owners are Knuckle draging chavs.... It`s that time Again,... Around the time of the last Census a protest movement started it`s purpose was to fill in the part on the census form that asks your religion, saying that you belong to the " Free Church Of Country Sports " the theory being that it would be illegal to discriminate against a persons religion As it`s the time for the census again, lets send a message to the powers that be THAT WE HAVE NOT GONE AWAY and we want our freedom back Fill in your Census forms FREE CHURCH OF COUNTRY SPORTS Yis Mars..

My Own now retired bull X has been the best dog i`ve ever owned, and in her day has done all you`d expect from a Bull X, A very steady bitch, worked with all sorts of other dogs and never a fight.. 6. Besides, if I win this, the photo will be hanging in the Saatchi Gallery in London. I, for one, would love nothing more than to see a photo with a lurcher in it hanging in a prestigious gallery. Thats a really good pic, and i agree with the above quote.... Mars..
  7. Start at home in a confined space where the pup cant get past you. then when you catch the pup as it`s trying to get past you...lol...give it loads of praise. Eventually the penny will drop that bringing stuff back to you is a good thing... Mars...
  8. A few years back, Walking through a park / Green space on a summers day weekend with lots of people and kids about... My Bull X who was off the lead walking to heal, took her self off to the brook that was around a hundred yards away down a bit of a bank, i thought nothing of it as i assumed she was just going to get a drink & cool off... As i turned to call her she was coming back towards me with a Large White Duck in her mouth.. and lots of people pointing and kids shouting "LOOK MUM" !!!! Luckily she is soft mouthed with anything that does`nt bite back, and once i told her to put it
