Cheers lads I did hear that also Dave.
Called in the gun shop on the way back and bought one on the off chance it would be decent. Fella in the shop rated it and said it would be spot on with the BSA.
Got it on the gun but not tried it yet will see what it's like
Mine arrived yesterday, looked like a decent bit of kit and very easy to put on the gun.
Went out for 15mins last night with the pressure switch. Great light and 2 bunnies down.
Would recommend to anybody.
It was defiantly better than the last 3 years I have been. Gods to see the horse drive there this year I think it brought a few more people this time round.
I will be going again next year that's for sure. Half the battle is the weather lol
I will ask around and see if anybody has one I could lend. Just seems a bit steep to test a gun once and never be used again.
Will have a look on eBay and see if any second hand going
Cheers pal just had a quick look at what they are.
Seems a bit pricey for a quick test lol.
Guess maybe won't be a good idea if it's over to take to a gun shop lol :/
Guess I will never know lol
Hi all just bought a BSA lightning 22 air rifle which has had an upgrade on the spring.
Shoots really well and brings down a bunny no problem. I am just a tad concerned that it might be over the legal limit?
Is there a way you can get this checked at a gun shop or buy anything?
Cheers
As others have said mate best to get from young so you can rear them on and bond with them. (Makes it a bit more rewarding when you get your first rabbit I thought with something you have had from young)
I was always told to whistle or call them (squeaking like a rabbit in distress) when I went to feed them. That way if they kill in sometimes if you call they will come back out without having to dig. Works a few times for me but not sure if that's 100% true lol.
As for nets get yourself to a country fair or as others have said get some off decent lads from here. I would defiantly rec
Hi all
Fairly new to long netting and would like some advice. I have noticed some people use 100% bagging on their nets and others use 50%
Just wondered if it actually makes a difference and do you need a different type of net for different bagging requirements?
Cheers
Been today and the weather was great. Really busy and a great day out.
Better than the last few years I have been a lot more stalls and more to do. One of the better shows around at the minute
Match lakes are crammed with fish. Still apply the same tactics as said.
If it was me i would still fish maggot as it increases your chance of a bite. Might not be a carp but better than sitting there in the cold doing nothing. If you want carp then try a boilie but don't over feed
Try and target roach or something like that and am sure you will get the odd carp appear?
Yea that's what I was thinking. Will try and feed him on that Gain 20 food.
I was maybe thinking once or twice a week just add rice in with his food?
Would cooked rabbit be good for him?
