Most whippets will be ready for a bit of work now , but only you can judge that , if shes keen and showing willing , and presuming you,ve got basic obedience and stock breaking sorted , why not give her a try .

It wont have any effect on your dog mate , it shows she,s keen , just be patient , whenever you start her , try to pick some easyish runs , and don,t worry about her missing a few ,maybe run her with a more experienced dog to start with so she can get her mouth on a few .ATB

An honest opinion well put , your right about the word SPORT , I should of said livlyhood ,please don,t get me wrong I,m not saying it,s wrong ,it,s just a personal thing , every bird I ever took was poached and after reading the other sides point of view I think I,l stop , I,m not saying I,m right or anyone else is wrong ,as I,v said it,s just a personal thing . I,v always enjoyed the odd pheasant , but after seeing the shooters point of view on these type of threads , I think I,ll give them a miss , I can do without the odd bird and I don,t want to mess with other peoples sport .

Roy seems like a decent man ,and his record tells you he,s a competant manager ,but imo he lacked the presence the aura that the manager of a really top club needs, even one going through a bad time like Liverpool ,sometimes tactical nous is not enough ,passion and inspiration are whats needed for the rest of the season ,.
