Good looking heads there matie. I did most of the taxidermy around the Ashington area in the mid 80s and 90s, thought they might be some of mine, but there not.. Who ever the taxidermists was, he/she has made a nice job of them

Mmmmmmm, I dont know. I think I said slight crop, not castrate. Photography is all a matter of opinions, the cropped one almost works for me, the river enters the photo good from its starting point on the lower right and works well across the picture, its success lies in the slight snaking bend, had it been straight, it wouldnt have worked so well fo me. The sky is mint, absolutely great..saturation is almost slide like quality. Youve took too much off the bottom though imo, lower edge of the river should start right on the bottom corner.. A bloody good capture, one to be really proud of

Hi mate.. even if your picture is dark, you can still do something with it in photoshop. Ive seen ones where it was nearly black, and I still got something from it. The weather the way it is at the momet dosnt constitute good photography..its been said, 'a good photographer knows when not to take photos' But, for the likes of us, we want something, anything..If your camera is set on P, this is where the camera does everything for you, you will get dark results, you have to trick the camera, in really poor light you may have to go manual, I set usually to the smallest F number possible on t

Your camera uses Zuiko lenes, unfortunately there isnt the choice of Nikon and Canon cameras..as its already been mentioned, up to 300mm is ok. Even with the bigger lenses you still have to get close. I use a -400mm lense, Zuiko will not do this sort of size. Maybe Sigma or some other company may do a lense with your fitting. I use auto focus 90% of the time. Ive never tried tele converters, maybe some of the other lads can help you out here, but again, you will be limited to what you can get.
