well this is the thing doxhope if i showed my wife that video or the video of hares being coursed in ireland by muzzeled dogs,or foxs being thrown to hounds she as some one who dont kill anything cant see the point in any of it,its all cruel to her,so thats what most people who dont hunt and kill would say,its selective crulty,protect your rabbitting at all cost by mugging of all other forms of hunting,its you who should hang there head in shame,i marched in london for all hunters not just f*****g rabbiting men Consider it hanging

This is not a thread about hares, and its no good trying to make comparisons, its about whats on that video, show your wife it, show your daughter it, tell them that this is what you believe in, then put your head down in shame. I have hunted all my life, my father was a hunter, and his father before him...thats not hunting for gods sake, it solves no useful purpose what so ever, apart from blood lust of all the people involved.

I was just at a photography competition on Thursday night, this was for digital photography only, the pictures in the black and white section where all photos that had been originally taken in colour, then changed to black and white in a photoshop, a lot of them were quite stunning I must admit. The D50 and D80 are both more than capable of getting you great shots....

i read about that dog on your website. it sounded and looked amazing. some of her bags where outstanding on so many occasions. I think Ian has already explained the issues of putting pics up, and EXIF data...Im fine with it, but, it could help land the person putting more sensitive pictures up into trouble I did know they were taken by a Canon camera before I checked..but not the exact model. Keep the pics rolling in matie..No one gets sick of see-ing a good photograph

Cheers mate, get a good photoshop program, pictures with digitals are rarely good straight from the camera, most have to be doctored in some way, even if its just cropping, or a bit shrpening up. Something like Adobe elements, CS2, CS3, Quimage. I have a Nikon, and I got a photoshop with it called Picture Project, I use this a lot, cos its easy.. Hope to see more of your pictures in the future matie, Happy snapping

I knew it was a Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XTi before you answered matie..have you got a good photoshop to put these in? Really makes all the difference Good pics, but that kessy picture will do up mint Hope you dont mind, just to show what I mean Ive had a bit play with it, cropped it, removed that nasty wire and toned it up.. I will take it back off if you want

nikon mountable lenses for wildlife

I find it a great zoom lense, when on my D200 or my Fuji S2 Pro, its a slow focusing lense though. I do get quite a bit work at these ranges, I do most of my work on animals and birds. A lot of people say its no good for action shots, but if I were into that, yes I would go for something faster. Hi mate, the only lense I use is a -400 Nikon lense, Im not for one minute saying you should get one, but, this was dropped and new one obtained through house insurance...Just a thought, if you havent already tried. -
