  1. Hey trench, not knocking your opinions but I think that everyone should refrain from making it a personal attack on family members. I know it was probably a throw away comment but let's keep this factual. Sorry buddy, don't want to offend you. Phil Mawders, I understand your stand point on Miles, having been in a similar situation myself. Morals like yours will stand you well in life No offence taken, and non intended. Just that sometimes some folk just get my back up. I'll wind my neck in
  2. If your coming, May I suggest you bring some mosi/midge repellent. Its heaving with the beggars at the moment up here!
  3. I never quite understood the guy, but we all choose which furrow we plough in life. I would normally let poeple like Miles pass along but there was something that just ground my gears about him. the more that comes to light, the more they grind! Oxygen thief? I think his mother raised the after birth
  4. we all make decisions based upon what we believe to be fact. If you believed those facts, and acted the way you did, it only goes to prove that you are not a dim-wit, just a decent bloke. I wouldn't take it personally. Live by your standards, not hsi
  5. A coursing pup named CID. Tempting fate if you ask me, But a cracking pup either way fella!
  6. Use smooth faced stable matting and glue the mats together. Easy on feet/joints warm to lie on and self draining underneath. I did a 20 dog kennel last year for somebody and they have never been happier. Just make sure you seal around the bolts for the run panels
  7. I've been put off the beddy x by my current beddy cross A mate of mine is bringing on a 3/4 whippet 1/4 beddy at the moment, only 12 weeks so would be good to see that running when it's matured. I do want a bit of collie blood next time though. your running that beddy x on the wrong ground his to big gaz i can take him off you and give him the work i will wait for the phone call Your right about that. He is better on the bigger land for sure. His problem isn't his size. It's his nose. Obedience when he's on scent is zero. Fecked off for 12 mile the other day Yet take him on
  8. Note to self. Don't shave your head after 3 days in the sun. I look like George Foreman in a White swim cap!

  9. Note to self. Don't shave your head after 3 days in the sun. You look like George Foreman in a white swimmi ca

  10. ive been sucked off in bogs What, by a fecking copper?! Bloody anti
  11. I've one similar collie/grey x saluki/greyxbull/grey. He has stamina to burn, easy to keep and I imagine pre ban would have been useful on roe and hare on the moorland fringes around here ;0). I don't lamp him much as daytime is his forte and I don't like the dark.
  12. Aigle for me all the way, but if you want a cheeper option then try Lacrosse from uttings, bloody hard wearing and comfy. Muck boots = George Michael Boots..................................... They get sucked off in bogs. Not for me
  13. Being so close to the venue are you taking lodgers for the weekend? I’m very easily pleased, comfy bed, full English and chauffeur to the meet is all I ask!Regards, Steve Normally would, but as there is a beer or two involved, I'll probably end up sleeping in the back of my land rover as usual
  14. Seen hare mating last week, which don't bode well, that's if it were still legal.
  15. Davy has amended the first post on this thread. It's all there for you!
  16. Only 2 miles for me! May rock up as I need a few tips Need help to get the most out of the new Spectre!
  17. Lucky you, I've a load of sheep to de-dag at feet trim. Guess that collie might come in handy, but I'll leave the bull x at home. Enjoy, and fill ya boots
  18. so your saying failed rabbit dogs make good deer dogs,I think you need to bear in mind that we are talking working collies, not collie cross lurchers. I think that the collie brain gets used to rabbits fecking off down holes, cover etc. Then some start to run clever and pick their runs. Deer are too different in that they stay above ground and are more visible when running when due to their size. It takes a bit more for a determined dog to give up on one compared to a rabbit, if that dog is a thinker. I have heard and thought, in the past, that the similarity of deer to sheep was what created
