max joking a side i would rather put a fast coursing type dog over my lurcher than a pure greyhound , i done it last year rex to mhirn and there no plodders ,and run clever even as pups ,but i do believe the way you think breed of champions better chance to get champions,if your just chaseing rabbs most collie lurcher will do, its when you travel to diffrent ground you soon see how things go and how dogs get out classed at times, alot of hangers on in these threads most not traveld far and wide on allsorts to tell a good dog from a bad one , all they do is sit on the band wagon there more to l

feching chaseing a lures a bit fun the woman from arbroath hasnt a clue about lurcher dog work , any daft mutt will chase a toy or lure if goaded so tell her to come along and see for herself that chasing a rag or skin not going make them more wicked on a pet dog , -
mothing worse than abig bunch of mongrels getting bred lurher to lurcher if they havent been tested on allsorts , im glad the coursing guys got it [bANNED TEXT] years ago , with breeding dogs , hpe you find your perfect dog guys

max is [bANNED TEXT] if we never had the good greyhounds grews there would be no pacy lurchers , its alrite breeding good lurcher to lurcher its the best way but what if neither are pacy to do a job ,i prefer lurcher to lurcher as got some pacy stuff but imaging coliefied to coliefied and couldnt turn there prey etc , or kept losing ground , or to salukified and not enough urgency , youlle not get a more suitable dog to breed pace than some of the bigg whippetgrews fifty pound plus to add pace and strike at times , for some land , best rabbit dogs ive saw were collie with grew in them ,lurche
