there guys from white haven they breed a few dog there on the minshaw thread , or hanckock but hees a commercail breeder but you get whats on the label ,im breeding next year but well thats a while away -

that is the truth chalkie, always been, but cant beat in these remote places lamp dog and not a feching care in the world , no clients no greenkeepers forestry, railway men etc just the wildness of a black nite no lights for miles best way, brill, made more money in aprivate garden charging them wonga than a nites lamping them at times

ye not bad for a rabbit good money last year all the chinese etc wanting them ,when the rabbits were there years ago we got not a lot , but fresh game, fish etc well there a good cion in it and edinburghs the big easy for selling stuff mate ,the butchers as we speak 5 pound a rabb , so if you get 2 pound to three you would do not to bad ,but then , you need to have rabbity land , you could get more selling days to feild trail trainers italians spanish guests rabbit days etc we used to sell days for rabbiting to a belguim mob very profitable made the rabbits worth a tenner at times each , there

wel were do you start, winter christmas time, we are of from work grounds hard so no lamping or open feild hares so back to the good old grass stock feilds , i wistle up my two collie crosss one bred from a freind in barnsley out of the famous bob a good old colie type , and fallon an old hancker beardie type , so we get up to the 5 600 feet above sea level grounds cold but the grass acts as a cushing ,big warrens so we take two boxes off ferrets , 6 in total 4 dog ferrets 2 bitches ,dogs are markin the hill side but not to many, so says fech it no nets ,start with two dog ferrets within minut

we had ashow at duns the both judges worked lurchers and the terrier man for the hunt was there , so was a fair deal that at least they were working lurcher and terrier men i think , i would love to do a big lurcher terrier show like we did back in the ninties etc , in scotland ,was going organise one get guys like den to do racing, scurries dog stuff, but all to do with working etc make sure racing is like under 23 and then over 23 all dogs muzzled etc 300 yard run , etc ,terrier things like a longpipe with fox tails in it , them through they go .ferret things etc a real hunting extravaganza -

thats for sure , was down at selkirk the guy showing didnt even own a lurcher or work them , i no its fun but fech ,grant c what you saying people are asking what shows lack, im giving them ideas to the things we done 15 or more years ago , what do you not get -
yoiule no all about down your way border you can only be 20 minutes from carlile were there many good running dogs out of that area in your time ,
