    some nice dogs and well they dont live next door to me so what the fech at least they can still hunt whatever , we cant , im not into there culture , but if it was abit more organised be a good day out ,done pig hunting in texas new mexico good and out fresh meat to eat not disorganised like that , maybe athe die hard hunters on here could go over and show them lol

    working dogs are better kept in kennels well built ones , as they no there home and you have yours if you have the space etc

    there s more to life than dogs mate even tho i love the dogs coursing any hunting at all ,ive been lucky and clever enough to have lived a good life , a book about just dogs is fine but in life the more fun and hunting fishing the more intresting a book makes , a books good but not ready to give in to it and if you write it has to come from the heart at times which makes it spikey and truthfull,

    i would buy it if he done it personaly not some writer , telling another mans tales or graft if he writes a book has to be in the same strength as harold wymans great game , as he was a mans man , not some jumped up book writer , who makes money of other mens backs ,to me an alround hunter has to be a knowlegble dog trainer hunter ,a bit of a jack of all trades for it to be intresting ,i mean there been some mornings picked a net up fish in it, then away for a day lite course, have a sleep , sell your wares , and get the fire stoked for another day at he game , its not just about a dog or two

    guys had a few back in the ninties but were not suitable for the land we were running so they went to good homes the only guys i no personaly who have had that blood is lads from liverpool , dont seem to be popular up our way since saluk types terrier typets took over but i like them , just not all the hangers on about a fourlegged freind, you have to remember i like collie types but i know there not great hare dogs ,only had a few who could rock them on good fast open land, but there good dogs as moochers and opurtunist ,got freinds in annan had one a part from that there to diluted now mate

    saw a dog with sankeys blood down near lauder there a few english guys who come up beating burncastle lauder etc young local lad had a black bitch not a bad looking animal

    max there several good dog men my mate d slieght people like my late freind who ran and one some good matches in good company cambrige cup poachers cup against joe kipper etcplus we poached pretty hard at nite with some of the same dogs , and my self but we never say to much about the dogs a little bit but not pages and pages as there no need to good dog men no good dogs, good breeding, etc its the hangers on who dont or jump on band wagon , like the minshaw thread lots of hangers on but only a few worldly people who have actauly traveld the world to hunt ,not just a rabbit,iv ehad the privled

    years ago we used to get alot of low lying whin gorse cut with tractor or hedge cutter it was open land so never grew much we would net runs throw a few big dog ferrets in and wait for the sport great fun you could long net to ,but we liked the purse net and dog team, there still a few places like that about ,not as many as any waste land is put into corn or barley for cash

    they were good dogs in the eighties its geting the first piont of call getting dogs that are treid and tested of keen guys who no how to breed good working dogs thats the hardest part of the game genuine dog men who have proper working deerhounds and collie types that are tested till there proven

    very poplar cross back in the eighties before hancock etc started there puppy farm got pics of dogs simliar to your fawn one , coursed them allround good hare land not to bad done better than these so called plummer types hancocks but we were young and thought the merle wonder dogs lol soon learnt
