well was 2004 we made a trip out to the texas rosewell border, to meet an old dog man d heis he had hawg dogs, coursing hounds allsorts , so we go along the pecos river, got three scenting hounds a big staghound and two draw dogs, pionter cross pit , and hound pit , so on we go we arrive at our destnation i go down to the river bank see if there hawg prints a couple, but not much he looses the dogs of, we listen as there working the river banks for a good 15 minutes ole red hound starts barking but hees heading fast, out the area we are in , dave puts the telementry on , we pick them up on

the mods should clean it up , but thats the level some will go to as there not wired up [bANNED TEXT] at times , but it shows you the type of peolpe it attracts -
takes years of knowledge and having dogs who will hunt away without help , lana my colie cross was muster and a few i a have about me ,a diffrent ball game m c glenn used to do it alot , even devised old salmon nets across rides thats another story
-
hard to say as i have had dogs who could kill up the hills but never made the grade localy on hare etc, had abeardie cross catch 68 but on a strong winter hare roe well wa s found out even tho she tried , over the years had several hunting people up , it takes a good dog to take big bags regulary single handed ,but sport for kings as they say,we can all catch i easy places , with medocre dogs or good dogs its when the grounds bare the game are a bit wiser sorts the dogs out andy and gives you further breeding ,hard game for me to keep good types

i wouldnt put pure colie to lurcher mix when ther dogs like buddie dogs like rex , i was lucky with mines mate ,had guys like d slieght who had good dogs and other guys,i just improved on them a bit made them pacier stronger but with good retreiving skills still in them , then when my maTE ONE COURSING COMPS HAD THE PICK , if my mate hadent done well with his dogs i had phoned mp for a line of lucky for 250 and my own saluk crosses to, as there was no top collie croses localy or faraway that could live with them. kinda like putting swift to buddie , then breeding that way as you get more from
-
you need the [bANNED TEXT] type or be very good at dog training and clever with it had saluks for 2 decade good dogs but you need to be very clever with them thats why i crosse then into the collie type
-
had the grew type for twenty years, saw them back in the ninties early part at feildhunting things liked them better than collie greyhound for nimble and quickness and kept them ever since, good dogs

all depends baw were you are and if you no the landowners , threatning well they get the police and thats the end of hunting on his land ,i just got another 2 farms full of rabbs hares , only cause you respect the land and there terms ,crawling with rabbs but need a four by four to get there ,i think if you go about it the right. way. have refrences some let you others well they will never , such is life, -
would like to, had collie types from eighties just not got a scanner up and running got some cracking pics just never botherd mate ,just a pity were i run any more than a qaurter collie well it gets a bit hard for them , as there easier for me to train than some saluks types ive bred at times ,
