    After some advice I own a 22month lurcher bitch. She's not yet came into season and is very immature. Has anyone had a bitch go longer than this and do they mature mentally after there first season. Thanks in advance

    Any advice on my lurchers retrieving. She's 20 months if I lamp her from over a hedge or from outside the field she retrieves fine. But when I get her in a field she stands off with her catch playing with it releasing then recatching. She will retrieve a dummy and ball to me and not release until I tell her. I've trained her the hold command with the dummy. She's not yet came into season which I hope will make her more mature. Any advice on what to do next? Do I carry on picking her runs over small hedges?

    A question on Hare Habbitat. One a walk the other week I was mooching through wet,soggy mud the grass was pretty much none existent, I saw 2 get up in front of me and dissappear into some woodland. I'm really shocked to have seen some in this terrain. There wad alot more higher and dryer land further up the hill. Anyone else came across any in surprising environments.

    £60 what a rip off. There's alot of ferreters out there you don't even here about that would probably take you for free. I would put your £60 in your tank fir fuel and drive around securing more permission as your ground will make you a better ferreted. Best way is to get out in the field and learn. Keep a locator on the ferret and a spade handy enjoy. Alot look at his youtube videos and think it's all easy ferreting they only show you what they want you to see.

    Just goes to show how easily gameness is lost when crossing Bulldogs with other breeds.a lot depends on the breeding of both sire and dam though. Any bulldog to any old greyhound does nt throw good half crosses. Which is where a lot of the problems lie with a lot of the bull crosses today .If a person buys any old dog with out doing the proper research then more fool them. This is why there's so many on the selling pages
