  3. Yes true, if you look at it that way its bether than getting passed around. But how long until you know if your dog's is a working dog. 10 months ,2 years or longer

  9. I own a whippet x greyhound 18month old bitch. She's not came into season yet. She retrieves a dummy or ball fine. As soon as she catches a rabbit she will come into 10 foot away then drop and come in empty handed. She is kennelled with her mum and is very soft. The odd rabbit she has brought straight to me. My kennels sleeping area has 2 tube heaters below ply wood flooring and also a radiator in block on by night. And cushions for bedding. I'm hoping her having a season will make her more possesive.   11. A few years ago a mate had a 26" multi cross lurcher containing greyhound,saluki,bull, deerhound,collie, No whippet. He used my ped whippet dog on her and the pups were fantasic. The genes really knitted well together. Which proves the saying of going back to something clean every few generations. The impact the whippet made on these pups was imense
  12. Totally at a Fordingbridge they used to give a pedigree a 7 yard allowance against a non ped of the same weight

  14. Make sure its a working bred kc whippet. I own kc racing whippets that have won championships but would not last long in the field due to build and would over shoot

  16. Buy tinned chopped tomatoes add a spoon into there food every other day. Or get a blender (carrots, broccoli,etc)
