  12. dont get it , what's wrong with wanting to have little ferrets???? or polecats ? I live in belgium, ferreting is almost extinct here ! Many people hunt with the gun, but almost nobody goes ferreting ,or even keep working ferrets ! i had and workt ferrets most of my life ,just like My father and grandfather ! we had always have little ferrets and they workt wel , now i just wont to get my hand on some nice little working ferrets to breed with my ferrets so i get a slightly smaller working ferret again . since there are very few people here that work their ferrets i dont have to breed
  13. hi mate , ik can tel you the reason why i wont them ? I've always had a preference for smaller ferrets, why? Just because I have good experiences, they do better than large frets and because it is convenient. it need not necessarily be micro, just very little ferrets. The first thing I see is their hunting instinct and their character. then look! i have a verry good working stock , from an old bloodline ! by outcrossing but is the size bigger than I once bred . Therefore I wont to cros smaller in to them .
  14. hi mate , i !m the one that posted the thread about the micros , dont wonna breed the in to my good working stock !my working stock i select on goodworking ferrets and good karakters ! just would like to keep some micro's as pets ! is there something wrong with that ? do like the dark ferrets , but that is just my , can not see the harm in breeding a littele more withe dark ferrets , just because i like them , you ? gr ken
  15. real micro ferrets, who has them?? Who can tell me more abbout them ?do they exist? ???? do they come onely in the bright colors ? , or even pole cats ? im not talking about ferrets with an adult weight of 700 gr , that are normal normal adult ferrets !(jills) I've heard about ferrets with an adult weight around 350 - 500 gr !? who has them ( breed them )? I live in belgium but am willing to travel if I could buy some .
  16. not to worry mate , he wil be fine

( that are 15 years of experience before I got my first litter bred !!! )

  21. i have split them up now , the youngsters al together and the two jills together . there fine now . but can i ever let them live back together ( 2 old jills and 2 young jills ) in the same hutch ??? gr and thanks for the reply's !
  22. hi everybody , i have a problem , i have two jills , both have a litter youngsters one have five and one has eight , both jills are verry maternal toward their young , they drag them constantly to their nest , but the youngsters are about eight weeks old , they have a mind of theyre own . with the result that their necks are bitten , one has a nasty wound from it .! is this normaly behavior ? should i sepperate the jills from their young ? gr
