maby a stupid question , but , why put the first end pin on as i turn it over ? can't i just knit the salvage on and running line through on both sides and then put the end pins on ?

oke , many thanks for the reply 's ! i started the net and now a mate of mine said you have to do it double , thats why i asked . i m' at 20 yards now , 2 inch mesh board and 16 wide so in total with the top and bottom selvage it il be 18 wide and 50 yards with 100 procent bag . you guys have some good advice for me on what twine i should use for the selvage ? and if still have to find out how i have to hang the net to put the selvage on . i just let it drop in a bag now many thanks

hi al , i orderd some 20/ 12 spun poly bij engel and i want to make my first longnet i would like to make a 50 yard net with 100 procent bagging , so 100 yards stretched net now i wonder , could i just knit it single or is it best to do it double strand ?

i know mate , and i dont want to break records , main thing is Quality but how fast is fast ? is an hour for this kind of purse net fast ? or is it slow ?

yeah practice makes perfect ! i am just getting into slingshot hunting for a month now but my aiming gets better everyday mate i used to practice at home at 10 and 15 yards but now i practice outside when im out walking , and i try to hit things at diferent distance's , i must say that that seems to work better for me

the result from this morning im stil trying to find out what band setup i like most ( stil in doubt about these two ) - tbg double tapered 30/20mm - tbg double straght 25 mm i prefer hex nuts m10 for ammo . these are taken with tbg double 25 mm straight and hex nut m10

the wood i dont know , i find that last week after a storm and it was a big fork with a lot of dead wood i almost gave her up , but when i kept taking wood of i find she was not compleet rotten and this is what was left but the wood itself was verry soft and light i finisht it with a dark oil i normaly use for my gun stocks -
getting into slingshots now so i made my first one over the weekend what do think ?

no no , in Belgium you can own a lurcher as a pet dogbu it is ilegal to hunt with them ! and yes if the catch you hunting with a lurcher , longnet , or a snare , you are poaching and they put you in prison ! believe it or not . What's the minimum sentence? & have you actually heard of any cases? I doubt most belgiun police would even have a clue what a lurcher is, after all there doesn't seem to be a culture of poaching with lurchers here..... Hard to believe mooching with a little rabbiting dog could see you doing a stretch on B wing! Lol not just one case , 3 in the last year , the -

just the same with guns , in england you can have a silencer on a gun !!! in Belgium it is forbidden to have one in your possession. and if you have it mounted on a gun , you are a terrorist ! No seriously, have one in your possession will cost you a very heavy fine. and if you have one on your rifle = 3 years prison -

im thinking of moving to england in england youre allowed to use longnets = in Belgium its forbidden !!! in england youre allowed to hunt with lurchers = in Belgium its forbidden in england youre allowed to set snares ( rabbit , fox , hare ) = in Belgium is forbidden if they catch you with any of these 3 , they sentence you , even sell youre house if you cant pay !!! u are al Lucky .............) !!!

Be careful when you dye it, you may find it shrinks about 1/4" in that case il dy it the way my grandfather did the pursenets , could with verry dark coffee and Brown egg scales, verry nice brown - gold coulor
