  1. the new breeding hutch is ready and in place on time ! and from the looks of her it is not a week to soon , i never had a jill so round and fat like this one .

  4. Too true , never mind the hutch , what a work area , very nice..... the work area is just my basement mate , nothing special but its just nice to have a place warm and dry where you can make or build something .
  5. maby your right , i dont know what to do with the metal cage mate . bending over i dont mind , i always liked this disign of hutch , this way you have mutch more controle over the ferrets and they are used to be handeld en picked up from above . and i realy dont need a muti tier hutch because i only have two or three ferrets . the hutch is 78.7 inch long 23.6 inch deep 25.5 inch high that should be good enough for three ferrets

  8. indeed i'm thinking of building a court , i have a nice garden so that wil be no problem , but the hutch is more a breeding hutch ,
  9. hi lads , was thinking about a new and bigger ferret hutch what would most of you prefer , wood or steel , ofcourse both with wooden nestbox wood is light and easy to work with steel is heavy , but solid and would last for years and years to come , and steel does not absorb any smel and urine and so on , personaly i can do both , so that is not the issue .

  12. Kenny, that is the easy part of long netting at night. The hard part is before you set the net. TC i gues i will have to learn just by doing it tc , got nobody here to show or teach me .

  17. I thought I'd share an idea on a netmaking box easy , simple and everything at hand the box was just an old tool box i had in the basement .
