i get the impression this has been done so near to the poppy burning incident intentionally to wind us up and increase the separation between us. i mean they couldnt get away with half of what they do if we were united could they?

how can they prove your dog is a full time working dog? not just a clumsy pet?

why? nothing wrong with chaining dog's as long as they have good warm shelter and cant hurt themselves edited to say;i don't have to chain them i could keep them kenneled,but i think this system is better if the dog suits it.

if you put the chain in the right area (just common sense not to put it in reach of a fence or tree)its safer than a kennel imo i have done this before (and am doing it now) just not with lurchers. only ever done it with a tougher more robust type of dog so im not sure how my lurchers will fare,suppose theres only one way to find out.

anyone ever keep lurchers on a chainspot? ever had any problems in doing so? thinking i might put my lurchers on chain's next summer and if they take to it keep them on them. would just be easier i think.

i used to have mine inside but they all look a lot healthier with a better coat outside,plus it means i dont have to bath the feckers nearly every day.

i dont agree with that,i dont think the average chav inbreeds his/her dog they just put it over another piece of shit dog that looks a bit like a 'pit'. whereas a good breeder knows how to get the best out of inbreeding.

seriously if i had nothing to live for i'd be bringing the fight to them,as it stands the least we can do is boycott and disrupt their businesses.

i had the same problem except after it happend a second time he stopped retrieving and now just holds them on the floor,which is proving hard to crack.

just being good at whatever it is they are being bred for; probably lamping,ferreting and day time mooching and obviously being free of any health complaints.

imagine if hancock had of bred his dogs best to best and lurcher to lurcher,he could of kept track of the dogs which were working well and used those as studs, eventually he then could of line bred his best dog's and kept track of all the pup's progress and used them at stud if they made the grade. in the time he's been peddling he could of created a very good line of dog's imo.

i don't like the idea of being forced to work. because when i left the army i wanted a couple of months off just to get the house sorted (i'd saved more than enough to do this while supporting myself) etc when i went the citizen's advice beurau(sp?) i was told i had to sign on if i wasn't either working or retired! so that in effect mean's i could of been forced into doing manual labour,for far below minimum wage against my will. fair enough now they say you'll just get your benifits cut if you don't do it, how long before they decide it would be more profitable to force people to do so

if he's an indoor dog thats fine,just keep him confined to 1 or 2 rooms. make sure the doors shut before you answer the front door etc you'd need to find out for yourself what works and what doesnt.

in reality mate if there was something on the other side he wanted he could probably jump it anyway, a chainspot is the way forward. my dog literally spends his entire life under control,his lead clips onto the D ring before the chain comes off,thats what i mean when i say air-tight don't give him even the slightest chance to do damage to his breed.
