  3. these were a few pictures from our last two outings one in yorkshire the other north northumberland ,fishing been going well still catching a few but the last time out started at 8.30 and first fish came at 1.15 a long time to wait thought i had lost me touch but i came good in the end , anyway me favourite pic is the rainbow taking the fly off the top well proud of this one
  4. pleased you posted this i have the finnfire too and have the same problem it gets tricky when you come to unload when the end of shooting comes you either have to use the round up eg fire off or i have got it out by fiddling with the bolt trying to catch the rim, will try keeping the bolt clean and the chamber thanks for the advice ps i use winchester subs , also regarding hi velocity i find the cci very tight to close the bolt down cheers rob

  6. hi mark i have the same gun but mine has 26 inch barells skeet choked i looked around for a while but only seen a couple for sale they seem like rocking horses poo !! , try pigeon watch a few been on there hope this helps a little cheers rob

  9. am in the process of applying for a variation for a 243 for fox and deer on my firearms certificate ,the shoot i am in has some good ground so i see it a logical move anyway i digress back to the title, i was reading in shooting times a deer manager in the south of scotland has viewed a white roe buck on his land and has put a price tag on the trophy of £6000 , this had me thinking would you pay that,could you justify it , i suppose it is a one off or there will be very few around, i think it may go to an overseas gun , your thoughts cheers rob

  12. hello mark i have a remi 1100 semi , 3 shot one of the best handling autos made imho mine cycles fine i use sipe 32g 6 s for most of my shooting ,i had it for sale a while ago for £250 this was bit overpriced that why i still have it now , i do rate the gun a lot hope this helps a little

  17. hi kobi he may only be the humble rabbit but he deserves to dealt with respect ,get some decent wires and do the job properly they dont cost a lot to buy top notch gear ,they will pay for themselves in short time cheers rob

  19. few more forgot to add i had my first 4 from 4 balze pushed a one out i took it before he hwas up to it ,as i went another broke cover he was shot as i went to the first another broke he was done ,puts one more shell in another gets up from blaze that made my day ,but i dont mind coming second in the dog v gun compettion
  20. well i had a half day hol to take so woodga blaze and me set out for an afternoon of mooching ,the idea being blaze to bush them out woodga and me taking turns to shoot well that was the plan ,but blaze being blaze he is too good at what he does catching them out the reeds long before they have time to run for safety but what an afternoon apart from the cold wind blowing you inside out it was a cracking afternoons mooch thanks again colin and blaze , i dont own dogs but it makes you feel good seeing him work , wether it be the reeds or picking his way along the dry stone walls marking them f

  22. its been a while since i posted much so iwas particulary happy with these the fox came two weeks ago waiting in line for the beaters to come down, a hare breaks cover runninbg down the fence line to the hedge in front of me , out he pops sits there wondering has my time come its your day hartley off he runs past out os sight of the other guns on his merry way, a little time later a vixen runs from further out straight across the field in front of me much as the hare had ,i thought to myself he will be off across the field now un sighted he travels down the hedge infront a bad move just as the
