  1. All edged weapons, knife, spear or broadhead in the case of hunting arrows kill by heamorrage (blood loss)unless the spinal cord is severed. That is why in bowhunting the kill area is heart/lungs.Recurve hunting bows can be as low as 40lb(the weight you pull back with your fingers)but still have no problems with penetration due to arrow weight.Due to the cam mechanism a compound bow is easier to shoot for a first time bowhunter, hope this helps.
  2. All the best with your dog and glad she's on the mend.
  3. Was it done at Curly's down Abbey St? He must have tattooed half of Derby including myself!
  4. Hi,I do felt roofing for a living and you will find it a lot easier to just use felt instead of felt shingles.I have used shingles on of all places the cats protection league but they'd been left a load of money by a cat mad old woman that had died and the architect specified them.very expensive and not that good!
  5. Nothing to do with the dogs breeding and everything to do with the owners breeding! Some of the retards that end up owning pitbull types to look well ard shouldn't be allowed to own a box of matches let alone a dog.
  6. What about George Digweed-world champion at clay pigeon I think 17 times and doesn't even get a look in but then again his chosen sport involves those nasty gun things that are so politically incorrect nowadays-folks would sooner watch synchronised swimming or grown men kicking a pigs bladder around a field for 1 million pounds a week!
  7. This dog looks an absolute cracker.
  8. Some of these terriers seem like mini staffies to me,is this peculiar to wheeler bred dogs? Just curious.
  9. Borders will certainly retrieve-when I used to do a bit of pigeon shooting I had one that would bring them back alive-crows were a different matter as one latched onto his face while he was young and needless to say they didn't come to me alive!
  10. J Darcy beat me to it but I can definitely reccomend death in the long grass by Capstick also The Temple Tiger,Jungle Lore and The man eating leopard of Rudraprayag all by Corbett.
  11. I had one of these and it never let me down-just remember that it isn't a proper browning but a generic italian shotgun that carries the name.Brownings are made in Japan or Belgium. Good starter gun.
  12. Will there be toilets on the campsite and do you have to prebook or can you just turn up? Thanks.
