My Next door Neighbour Asked Me to keep the Nutkins Population down as their bold as Brass nicking food from His Dog and stealing the food from the song birds, So as I'm off for 2 weeks i decided to get my back garden Mowed, Just about to start the Mower when i Spotted Nutkins going next door across Her arial path i.e. My Canadian Spruce which is covered in Ivy so no clear shots, Ran up stairs to my spare bedroom and quitely opened the window to see Mrs Nutkins stuffing her face on the Bird table, Took the Shot which was only 25 yrds and down she went. regards D a z

Unless it's the Older BSA Springers that were made in Birmingham don't bother as their now made in Spain and their not as good as the UK counterpart, You'd be better off with a HW or Airarms Both Quality Brands. regards Daz

Well done Davy & Paul and the Girls, Great idea with the Archery for the next meet eh Davy!!!!!!. regards Daz -
Nice one Bill, If your a Tinkerer fair on you Bud, Me i know nowt about internals of Rifles let the Gremlins deal with that i just shoot them , But i wish BSA had stuck to J. Bowkett's Original Spec's, Me for one would rather pay say £700 for the completed rifle from BSA with all the Spec of JB and then wouldn't feel cheated. regards Daz
-
Like the look of the SE for £570 not bad price but another £300 + vat & delivery to make a Rifle up to the standard that it should have been in the first place?....... Think i'll stick with my Rapid factory Spec Rifle, The only thing non standard on my gun is the Nutshot Mod other than that it's standard. I think it's about time Manufacture's should pull their finger's out and bring their Quality control up instead of having to tune our guns up to the standard they should have been to start with . regards Daz
-
The First Gun on main Photo ' Rapid ' Good man proper hunting tool regards Daz
-
Had the same gun in .177, Brilliant choice Bud, Absolutely Bomb proof mine was standard factory spec not tuned or messed with and it could shoot the small spinners on our plinking range consistantly @ 55yrds, The rifle will serve you faithfully for years. regards Daz.

Cheers Lads for the replys, Only used the cleaning kit on the Shottie so far Chaz , But will use it on the Rapid when Accuracy is Dipping as thats the only time i clean the barrel, only wipe down Rifle with dry cloth. regards Daz

Enjoyed a Nice Day out Yesterday Morning, had a invite to shoot with Pete " Ninja Basslayer " From the Rapid Forum, Who's also on this forum under 'Bunnytickler" Some Lad's talk the talk but Pete is a Proper Hunter, With 35 yrs odd as a Game keeper and Hunter He's forgotten more than most of us know. Met up with Pete at his "Cave" in Hyde and drove to one of his Permissions, To say i was impressed with one of his many Permissions would be an under statement, My small permission is on 19 acres !!!!!, Petes is half of Cheshire with some of the Best shooting land i've ever seen Hills,

Quick question on magnification
Daz 7 replied to Bankzi's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
This is interesting Daz buddy, So am i right it thinking that you are saying with your scope you can zero at 35 yards say on x 14 mag and then shoot at a target at 50 yards which is say 2 mildots hold over .177 and then change to night time shooting on x4 mag and still have to give 2 mildots hold over at 50 yards? This i find very hard to comprend. Or are you getting confused with zero aim points in regards to mag change and range differance aim points in regards to mag change here which are 2 different things altogether buddy. Si. Not Confused Si, The First Focal Plane
