Mines doing well really pleased with him picked up the lamp a bit of work on his retrive to do but alls good -
My 2 are in travel cages in the house but my brothers starting to crawl soon so there going to have to go outside. Think it's easier indoors don't have to worry about keeping them warm when they come back wet after working on cold nights

My storys nothing compared to some on here but still cracks me up started lamping on my land which is oy about 18 acres got 2 bunnies out of there climbed through a hedge onto done other land, we did a loop around some woods which is 4 big fields on the 2nd field we saw what looked like a head torch in one of the nearby fields but it disapered so we carried on lamping. We got into the last field shone the lamp and there was a rabbit sat out but just as I was about to slip the dog dad shouts 'shti run!' turned round and it looked like 2 quads were coming pounding towards us. I'd just recently

I also use the dr Johns complete biscuits there's a few differnt flavours and there's a high protien 1 designed for racing dogs, but this made my whippet loose fur and get a rash ? So I'm using the blue bag now

Thanks personaly I think he's a bit if a lucker he was only a pup then so he's got a bit more muscle about him now

Iv got a beddie whippet 2nd cross and i'm happy with him only small 19/20tts but he's turning out to be a nice little rabbiting dog, he picked the lamp up pretty quick the only problem I'm having with him is his retrieving is a little off he likes to kill the bunny then he will give it to you, otherwise ge will circle you. All in good time he's only young so I'm not too bothered. Has good feet but not soo good in the wet wind we are having lately he's a but soft in that department but he's had a few knocks and tumbles and haven't affected him il definatley be having another this is the only

Iv just started to do a bit of running on a night so far only 2 miles all roadwork and iv been taking dogs with me and I was wondering if when I start to go further if this would have a bad effect on my dogs paws/joints/tendons etc. or would it possibly help strengthen them? Before the dogs never really went on roads at all their execrise was running around the smallholding, following me on the horse, walks through local fields chasing a ball and lamping and this gets them fit enough for what I want

The dog in the picture tries to mother lambs at any opportuinty

Iv seen the method of putting the dog that's had hold of a sheep in a pen with a older ewe with lambs at foot before not nice to watch and only needs to be on the pen for a few mins. But it works on a dog that's had a sheep before but I think the dog should be stock Brocken as a pup before it gets a chance to attack sheep. http://i1195.photobucket.com/albums/aa397/Natalie_Alexander/IMG_0013.png

Took him out again tonight knowing I won't be out for a few nights and it was again a succesful night. 3 rabbits out of 5 runs again all decent runs and his retrieving was that bit better, he brought them straight back to me but was still abit of a game to get it off him so I necked it and gave it back to him to carry. He carried the first 1 for a while but the novelty had worn off by his 3rd it's nights like these I wonder why I didn't get a beddie whippet earlier! Atb for the new year

Wind was up so i decided t take dog for a quick shine, and im pleased with the results bagged 4 out of 6 runs. All good long runs 2 managed to make it through the fence but he gave them a hard time his second run was a cracker, rabbit was sat in hedge back he ran it up n down the fence a couple of times then he turned it and went off into middle of a 16acre field he got his pace up and got his kill. Thankfully he seems to of stopped his bad habbit of backing off when the rabbit gets close to the hedge and nailed 1 just before it disapered through the hedge. But his retrieving was off the

Howmuch does it cost to have it done? From experience is it easier/cheaper in the long run than a jill jab? Thanks
