    the bloke is clearly a tool......... what is point of a dog that cant find its quarry.... true an earth may get full of scent, but a dog knows more about scent then we can even imagen... fresh scent and older scent are very difrent things to a good nosed dog. intrestingly the place i have had most "good" dogs fail to find is not in big earths but in large wet tyre heaps (mainly smelly sialge tyres).. its a real test for a nose and shows up alot of apparently well nosed dogs....... perhaps this mr plummer chap should try it!!

    i have heard it all now,you must have seen some bad bullcrosses ive seen some good ones (infcat some that a few hold in high regard)and had some good ones.....but in answer to your question.... yes ive seen LOTS of bad ones. i suppose it depends what you want from a bullx.... but as ive said he would do everything i would expect a bullx to do. as for the hearing it all piss taking bit............ i think your an idiot and i think your a clown to put a good bull cross in the same league as a doberman x greyhound i would be..... but he wasent a x just straight dobi

    try the new "looking down the big dark hole" by Cammoman a few lads on here have contributed to it.... bantam cocks.......digging in ladahosens tarmacs.... midget shovels and ugly northeners wilfreds..... digging in the wet patch fellponies..... living for crags' and crevacis should be worth a read if you can get your hands on it!! failing that try some darcy books or the worold of the working terrier.

    i had a pure dobi that would do anything you would expect a good bull cross to do..... he would also guard like his life depended on it, he was quieter than most bullx's i ve seen and his recall was top notch....... i fancy he was a one off

    you can drive them on a car licesnse on the road, you dont need a helmet either. you cannot unless designed for 2 pepople carry passagers tho. you really should do a lantra type training course to get insured, any insureance would be vioded by a)not waering a helmet carrying a passenger. most are good on fuel depending on how they are driven. tax can be free under agricultrual but this has limits as to how far you can travel from home etc. the only quads worth bothering with are hondas (many will argue but i have tested most makes to there limits , ask banatm cock, mouse etc )

    i think is getting into a barf debate instead of a raw feeding debate... some barfist go to the extremes, agreed, but some people have been feeding raw and getting good results before the word "barf" became so popular...... i think thats the area we want to stick to instead of geralising. some of us knht enough about dog nutrition to get it right for ourselves without master barf telling us how to go on.......... others just dont want to know.
