  3. been around a bit that sire who will own him next i wonder?
  4. Leeview, you allways seem to have a smart answer for everything on here, your a smart c**t. What the feck, is it got to do with you anyhow? Black whippet and Tom, top work lads, you know your ground and whippets, keep up the good work and keep posting. I don't know, this forum is mad. Dan.
  5. Not trying to divide anyone CW. Or score brownie points. Thanks though, for your info and i would also like to thank Leeview for his input, we all have differences of opinions, it would be a boring world if we all agreed on the one thing. Dan.
  6. Years ago, back in 1986, i visited a small wild life park, in Northamptonshire, called Guilsborough Grange Wild life park. I remember seeing some ferrets and what they reckoned were wild polecats. The polecat/ferrets, had some young and they were for sale. I got a polecat kit and worked it to rabbit that following autumn, and it was a smashing little worker. Just wonderd, does anyone know, if this park, is still going and open to the public? Dan.
  7. Lawrence, she is looking great. How do you find her, is she head strong? or, is she quiet? Dan.
  8. On and off threw the years, i have kept ferrets on their own and have never noticed any difference in their behaviour, or work. Dan.
  9. CHALKWARREN, i am with you 100% on this. I have had pure polecats and no exactly what you mean about them being more stronger and acting different. Leeview, if you chose not to belive this, then their is nothing that can be said or done.. I will say this though, the true wild polecat, is spreading.. CW, thanks very much for your experince on this subject, as you are out their, living in reality, not fantasy. Dan.
  10. Thanks very much for that CW.. It was a great dvd, one of the best made in my opinion. I think the methods used, could not have been more humane. I also think, after owning true wild polecats, a long time ago, that these were the real deal. Dan.
  11. Leeview, they were wild polecats. Ill talk to one of the lads that is in the dvd and try and get him to comment on this.. Why cant you except this, i still think you have somethings against these lads..... Shame, as they have some cracking ferrets and wild, polecat crosses.. Dan.
  12. I'm well aware of the dvd and was the polecat confirmed/or just assumed to be a wild polecat? These well known respected lads made Coneycatcher2 as well on our permission in the Yorkshire Dales circa 1993 after several previous visits Y.I.S Leeview Yes, they said it was a true wild polecat and if you watch it, you can tell the way it runs off after release, that it is, a wild polecat. Also, you can tel, the first crosses they had, were true, first x wild polecat. For some reason , you don't want to believe it, i think their is more to this, then just polecats myself . To me, fro
  13. Would like to see pictures of the parents please if possible?
  14. Leeview , I will say it again, please read carefully. Their is 2 ferreting/pest control dvds, first one is A fistfull of ferrets, the second, fist full of ferrets more. I suggest you get the second one, as on their, is well known repected lads in the rabbiting world, that have europeon polecat/ferret hybrids. These animals, can produce fertile young no problem. These, are true wild polecat/ferret crosses. You are a very ignorant man it seems, when it comes to this and i think your a know all.. if any lads from them dvd;s are on this site, can you please put this know all, right, cheers

A good friend of mine, has 2 whippet crosses, both excellent workers that are worked nearly every night threw the season and when the moon is out worked most days ferreting, digging ect.
