  1. thay is a very cute pup, amber, tic, fly, rain, creed,
  2. I do not have to kill my dogs they are good with my kids but I would, would not even think twice. The dog is not biting strangers it is biting all the family members read the post. It is top dog in the pack. Just say for a moment he gets after the dog and they do not which is what is happening, a year from now his family is watching TV the dog is comeing in season but not showing sign, he goes to the loo and his 2yr old grabs one of the dogs possesions what will happen? I think nothing good as the other members are still below the dog and the dog is naturally going to be vying for dominance at
  3. Any dog that shows agresion to a child is dead at my house. Is a dogs life as valuable as a scar or worse on a child. If it is a wee pup that is different but as a older pup it is gone.
  4. The older dogs should grab by the throat and the coyote is usually dead by the time you get there, if not he is pretty close as all the dogs should grab on and lie down and wait for me to arrive it is hard for them to breath when they catch so if the coyote gets away there is usually not enough dog left to catch him again they learn pretty quick not to let go. I did have a pit bull that would not be far behind and if the coyote was fighting he fixed that problem but I lost him
  5. This is the bite it is 7 weeks getting better she is still not right thow. And this is her size for anybody that think they look like wolf hounds. i do not think you can wreck a good one and I also believe in hard culling, If this dog does not hunt or is turned off by a bite or getting torn up she will be gone. I only keep one trip dog and the rest all halve to be killers or they are gone. The trip dog is nessicary to breed speed back into your dogs but to halve only one killer and the rest trippers is backwards the only dogs that usually get hurt are the kill dogs. the odd speed ball trip do
  6. I do not enter them in the ground but run them across it. I let the younger dogs chase with a older dog as soon as they figure out how to run. Most dogs will chase but the young dogs after you run them a couple of times get quite keen and start chewing the yote up and wrecking the hide so to remidy this I run the young dog with a fast grey that will usually just trip the coyote, Then the young dog has to grab the throat. that is how my bitch got bit. I try to stick to young coyotes on the dogs under 2. A freind of mine dumped on around 450 yotes last winter, he caught 335. I do not use bait p
  7. I think that coyotes differ according to the environment, I live about 7000 km from Texas and we have large coyote near the bush areas and smaller faster coyote on the prarries. My dogs are bred for hunting faster prarrie coyotes. They half alot of grey in them the tan dog is half greyhound from the track. he would 3/4 grey rest mix of stag. Any way my dogs do catch jackrabbit, fox , coyote and pretty much any thing that runs away. my dogs are not as big as some. jack rabbits are hard to find around me so I do not hunt them on purpose ut when I take the dogs running they find the odd one
  8. I hope the pics work. The tan dog is a dog and he is nine months old his father and mother are both 100% The bridle is a bitch and she is elleven months old she has taken 4 coyotes this year but I am afraid she had a bite that got infected and will have to wait till she is feeling better. I really like these two and since the females injury I lent the rest of my hound pack to a friend for the season. I was pretty dishaertened when she took ill.
  9. Border collies die to. had one get sprayed while worming some cattle it died that night.
  10. Around here we are overpopulated with cougar yet very few people see them. They are not scared of humans and will just lye down in a bush when you happen bye. you never see any dead ones either(nateral causes) Find kills thow always eat the nose first.
  11. I would make it big enough for a couch and a T.V. just incase I had to go to the dog house
  12. Rocks

    duck &chickens

I put a heat lamp in my coop a red one and turn it on at night my birds dtarted laying in about ten days
  13. The older bitch is 8 months and her father was a pure grey, mother was half grey/ coyote hound. I do not know excactly what they were before but i think maybe wolf and deer hound crosses. The father is very fast and does the job alone. The mother is always run in a threesome and is tmedium fast but a good kill dog. she grabs hold and lays down no ragging on the yote. The puppy is out of a big male kill dog and a grey bitch she is 6 and a half weeks old. the mother ran good but hit a culvert before her prime and broke her front leg she is not fast any more but grabs on after the other dogs trip

  17. What do you guys look for in a good whippet to cross. Size, bone structure, pedigree. Do any whippets do or do you stay away from show dogs? I like what I see about lurchers and was thinking of crossing my cur/bull to a whippet. do you guys have any catahoula curs there? If you would like to see pics go to baydog.com there are links in classifieds

  19. will get some she is due to whelp today. I bred her to her brother who is 75# of cow killer. He finds them and brings them even if it is peice by peice. she is about 45# and gritty as well, she works more like a collie thou.
