    is the waxwing the same as bird as the waxbill No its different. In all honesty birding isn't something I am well up on unless its food or predator. The exception being I like to know what lives around me and the Waxbills were something I saw a lot of in the Seychelles. Wish I hadn't mentioned the bloody things now

    The same reason bud. The fact ammo is cheaper for the .223, which is why I am guessing you want it is irrelevant. Its like applying for .22lr and hmr, both for the same reason again, but there is no problem with that.

    I agree, never had an issue with my Nikon monarch and I do a fair amount of adjusting the drums for elevation and deflection. Earlier this year I slipped on a rock pile and landed on my rifle which clattered against the rocks. The zero was not affected at all. In theory scopes shouldn't lose their zero especially if the internals are made of metal and not plastic. It goes without saying that top end scopes with finger adjustable drums are usually very well made, and designed to be adjusted regularly so are more likely to hold their zero.

    I agree very interesting, and written a little like some of the works by Theroux in the 1800's I think it was. I must admit I know very little about paganism, but I had never considered them to be vegans.

    It beats sitting out in the driving rain and 15-20 mph wind we have here at the minute. Tell me about it. I'm sat here listening to water dripping off nextdoors roof onto the flat roof, rain hitting the window, and the wind blowing, just like last night, and yesterday, and for variety we had a storm the night previous, and there's to be more "interesting" weather over the next few days. Aye!! The pest from the west needs to change to the beast from the east, so we can get some hard frosts and a bit of snow. Then the tracking can start..! Set a few mole traps though this morning

    Plenty of rats getting drawn into the barns as this wet weather is flooding the fields!! Just had 3 of the buggers with rifle. Not a lot I know but we dont usually get rats around here unless weather is really bad.

I was quite happily sat in the barn shooting rats with my rimmy when this came in. If I was at my computer now, I wouldn't be having this conversation, I can assure you.

    Possibly more to this socks. I don't think mods are too bad at the job they have to do, and we do get made aware of other info. We are all aware of members on here with multiple identities.

    Same as bud, good luck and get some more images up of birds, I genuinely enjoy them. I just get fed up sometimes with some of the comments on this site, that are unnecesary, and could put the younger or newer members off, joining in or posting for fear of being ridiculed. Just my opinion anyway.

    That's nice. Don't quite understand the "edge you have though" This is a forum. People will guess at things, as I did, and somebody else thought waxbill as well, so there must be some similarity in someway. If you don't want people to guess, and you feel the need to insult people when they get it wrong....then just tell us what it is next time. I don't know you from Adam and the main decent images I have seen on here before, are those from Romany. I will see if I can find some of yours and I am sure I will appreciate those as well.

No need for insults bud, I thought you were asking for replies because you didn't know. I merely gave you my opinion as to what I thought it might be. As for the comment about a sparrow on your other thread.... That is what it looks like on my tiny phone screen.. It isn't exactly a frame filler.
