    Hutchey. The advice above is good advice. There are the basics of exit pupil, and brightness that people usually judge binoculars by, but that will only really work with binoculars of the same quality and construction. An example of how it doesnt work, is that I own a set of Leica geovids 8 x 42, which gives me an exit pupil of 5.25. I also own a set of cheap Bushnell 7 x 50 binos which give me an exit pupil of 7.14. In theory the bushnells with the biggest exit pupil, should be better in low light at dawn and dusk.     Have you got proof he received it bud? If so he has got it to do. Having said that it took 4 weeks for an item to get to me in October, and a collar from Strong Stuff got returned to him, because my lazy b*stard postman didn't stick a card through the door. Pretty certain their is enough on this feller to call him a thief though!

    Some like inch or so high at 100, but personally I prefer bang on at 100m. Depends what your main use will be though and what average distances you are looking at.

    Be interesting to know facts. There's very few where I am, infact your very lucky to see even one but in larger numbers I'd imagine they could make a dent in the rabbit population. They love a rabbit. Never see them where I live mate, worked in Bracknell for 6 months and we would see them every day, a lovely looking bird... Never seen big numbers together and from what I understand the big gatherings you see are around he feeding stations... I'm sure they would take a few rabbits but couldn't see them making a big dent in the population..... Maybe not... Someone surely knows. The only
