  5. i dont do much ferreting but surely you should have some idea of how good a ferret is going to be quicker than 2 years. as long has you have a good marking dog then you are sure theres a rabbit home 9 out of 10 times and you start the ferret on small warrens to improve the chances of finding the rabbit you should be able to tell fairly soon. I have had ferrets in the passed, that did not work well their first season, but come the next season, were flying it. They need regular work mind, i also think, if you out a few times a week and the young ferret gets plenty of chances, then to pr

  8. I don't know who you mean by "you greyhound coursing men" because I don't have any greyhounds at the moment and do all my running with lurchers. Yes some coursing club lads do go mad about lads hunting there preserves but saying they are all like that is just ignorant. The club here where i am have there preserve, they watch it all the time and catch the vast majority of their hares from that land and they have soul permission on it so i stay off it for arguments sake, and in my experience hares on their preserves don't run half as well as hares that have to run to survive a couple of times a

  14. I think to stop condensation you would need some sort of vent, in doing so you'd be giving the warm air an escape route. This is the reason I used ply on my sleeping boxes but if it wasn't for the condensation that plastic would be ideal. from experience, i find ply also keeps in condensation, unless their is holes to let it out.
