    Cut Backs

    I like the post on the christmas tree for trafalgar square coming from Norway, but it made me a little gutted. This year for the first time ( what I can remember) there will be no christmas lights in the city centre ( Exeter), not a big thing in the grand scheme of things I know, but still a bit sad. The kids like going up to watch the fire works and some Z lister hitting the button. I know christmas is a bit of a commercial rip off, but when you got young kids you've got to play the game and make it exiting, our city centre gonna look pretty crap this christmas.....

    God bit of fun for a day with a smoker and dogs, we had 74 earlier this year in a day, my jack had the time of her life.

    It's only 7 months mate, give it more time to develop so it's got a chance of catching else your bro in law could end up with a yapper for life. Surely he's not so pig ignorant to see he's not doing the dog any good.

    I run a small dog whin, Troters sister, she does ok so far, she catches rabbits on the lamp, works with the ferrets and bushing with the terrier. She's a little rabbit dog no more no less, I think these lads are young but get out with their "little" dogs and enjoy it, It aint always how big your dog is or how much you catch sometimes it's just about enjoying it.     Cheers mate I hated liver and kidneys as a kid tried some venison liver last year and liked it, but the rabbit ones were really, nice not too strong. Not sure if they could rank alongside the mighty KFC though ATB Kev

    Cheers mate, I enjoy being out with them mate they've got good and bad points, but they keep me happy and we normally come home with something in the bag

    Just finished some new kennels for a mate who own racing greyhounds they too feed redmils with raw, they take rabbits off me + all the normals, bones, chicken ect Mine are on mixed raw, minced chicken carcuss, chicken wings, bones, cheap minced beef + oily fish and rice, brown bread pasta andleft overs roast and bolognese being favs I agree with changing it around so they don't get bored.

    They're still young mate but already have diferent characters completely, the 3/4 is very laid back and easy to work with she's quick off the mark and she runs rabbits well, she was easy to break to ferrets, I keep her indoors and she's a really nice dog in the house too as is the first X. Downside are she can be a bit nervy around other dogs at first, although she settles well once working. The first X is very driven and has a great nose on her, she's still young so the lamping is fairly new to her at first she hunted up, but she is getting better all the time and retrieved well last time ou

    On my own or one other, normally my brother or a good mate. Recently a lad who got me a load of new land has walked around with us ( he shoots and doesn't run dogs) he loved it and is now ringing me to ask when he can next walk out, I can see a lurcher in his kennels beside his springers soon enough.

    Hi Mate I've got 3/4 whip 1/4 bed and she's turning into a good little rabbiting dog, she works well with ferrets, the terrier bushing and is coming on well lamping. I would say it's a good little x, most crosses should do well with rabbits though. The dog on the left is my brothers first x beddy whip heavier dog and not quite as quick, she's still young but has loads of drive and has started on the lamp well.
