    It`s domination behaviour & i had a bitch pup that started it at just over 3 month`s old with my neighbours English bullmastiff that was roughly the same age. I didnt know where to look as her kids were there

    Good old fashioned choke chain is what we used at obedience class. Quick jerk`s to reprimand & most soon learn the drill. However dont over use it, it`s a tool not a punishment & depending on your dog`s nature it can cause problem`s in your bond with the dog. Many people do not identify pulling as a problem until it become`s a problem & it can be the devil`s own to correct once it become`s imprinted.     Dog`s can be the funniest of creature`s at time`s. Ive a bitch that`s hard as nail`s yet can yelp for the daftest of reason`s. With a pup it`s often the suprise that cause`s the reaction not the pain. Same as if a child fall`s if you run over & make an fuss the child burst`s into tear`s. Often the dog`s just had a fright & i just ignore such thing`s because if you dont a minor incident may become an issue

    There are no hard or fast rule`s in the dog game & that make`s it as interesting as it is. However i feel that what make`s a good dog man is a MAN WHO GET`S THE BEST FROM HIS DOG OR DOG`S. Ive seen dogs with ability that simply didnt have the desire & that`s the hardest to take as when a dog goes out of sight i dont want to think "came back a bit quick there???"Ive also seen dog`s that were genuine 100% trier`s but lacked that ability to be genuine class.
