England Nl&rc Racing Finals
threedognight replied to Tom Pickering's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
why have the nlrc banned people who have quallified from attending when the venue is public property,?most unsporting if you ask me ,and well beyond there so called power ,no wonder every top lurcher bloke i have spoken to allways answer not worth the money and run by people who dont know the difference between a grew and a lurcher,i have also observed slack safety when your teams of volunteers are running events, not the way to increase your membership, sad people -

Ireland shanes castle cheating
threedognight replied to flash3241's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
thats where the 2 dog heats come in to their own not many pures have the stamina for 6 heats, you just have to run qualifiers same as final ,if a lurcher coundnt run 6 hares in two hours ity aint much use over here in blighty ,afterall it is supposed to be lurcher racing ,from what i gather from the posts it sounds like the flapping we used to see years ago ,good hunting folks. -
Ireland Master McGrath final
threedognight replied to king lurcher's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
regarding bumping dogs they should be disqaulified whoever the owner is,the difficulty is identifiying the culprit when your running 4 /5 dogs in heats, the best way ive seen it run over here in england is the lurcherworld top gun competition,2 dog heats ,even if you have 64 dogs entered the winner only has to run 6 times, you could improve on this by also using a slipper, any dog turning its head is easily spotted, and if you run the qualifiers the same as the final you then know the dogs in the final are up to the task and persistent bumpers stand out like a sore thumb,it also makes for a great -
Great Game Fairs of Ireland racing update
threedognight replied to AlbertJ's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
very sporting attitude minty ,you run whippets as lurchers have done for for a while, your just spoiling proper sporting peoples fun, got recall on your dogs yet lol! you run a nonped as a lurcher and tell folk its a lurcher in the show ring ,well if you lie to people they dont trust you, personally the best lurcher events are the working lurcher shows we have in the south west where the LURCHERS compete in at least two events ,thats straight racing, coursing, long jump ,and hurdles, most dogs do the lot and the winner is well respected ,all this other racing is mostly flapping really and if you w -
mooching with your whippets?? dont you mean walking across an adder infested ssi??? pmsl....the whole of cornwall knows the adders are out yet you still havent learnt your lesson from when you got 2 of your dogs bit last time!!! have you got recall on your dogs yet??? funny cos you remind me of the bloke in richmond park with fenton his dog chasing deer...pmsl thank god you aint a proper townie eh?? ps...hows the cat population in truro??? perhaps you should consider smoking the weed again di cos you are nothing but a racist, and your fantasies are even worse since you packed it up!!!! lol.

You come across as an expert in the field of training a dog, tell me, is this how you plan to train your non ped for hare coursing when it's old enough,? sounds fascinating to me. you still having a pop ,id get recall on yer dogs first before you start slagging folk on here RACIST BIGOT ,

daz can i ask what your goin to race this year mate A non ped whippetxgreyhound. Hopefully she'll stay under 21". At 8 months she is 20 3/4". She was bought to be a wee rabbiting dog and to race at the odd show. Some people will argue that it's a longdog and not a lurcher depending on who's definition you choose as to what a lurcher is. In my opinion anyone who seriously wants to compete at the lurcher racing needs non ped whippet/greyhound blood. Third time lucky lol Dazzam i have tryed a couple of times today to comment here but using my phone and had problems so here goes for

try with plastic bag first if the dog aint to keen i use a fox tail it seems to spark em up ,then plastic bag with fox tail ,then back to plastic bag on own ,if you find the plastic bag flies about to much put a leader rope between lure line and lure about 4 ft of 1/2 inch hemp or soft rope ,and you will stop dog tangleing with line when he gos for lure at the finish good luck.

what is the best off road 4x4 mpg??
threedognight replied to Tally Ho Hunter's topic in 4x4's, Quads & ATV's
97/98 300tdi disco ,with no sunroofs ,never used off road ,good service history, engines are good on fuel and you can remove the catalyitic convertor on these models and fit an erg blanking kit to get even better fuel consumpsion, zeibart rust proofing is useful too, expect to pay around 2/3 000 for a good one.happy hunting. -
would someone please let me know the results from the coursing and racing???
