    I had a 35 it was a bit of a let down at first .The main problems were the inside of the gun was roughly finished , the barrel locking was poor and ananoying click every time you cock the gun .the shot cycle was bad and the barrel would shut in different places .giving poor accurace........I polished the inside and the piston with autosolve and filed and chiseld the locking mecanisum a little until it shut and locked properly.The gun then shot well the click was not solved it was in the disign.I did shoot a lot of rabbits with the gun but I have mixed feelings about the gun .My brother has the

    If you cannot fined the hole to put in the air ,I would say you are a long from filling your gun.As finding the finding the hole to put the air in has to be the easy part of the job.

    I had a scope fall apart the turret fell of .It was on a bsa lightning a gun with a lot of reciol.Went and bought a new scope.

    Ok the 2240 air pistol 2250 rat catcher ,and rabbit stopper are the same gun ,with different barrels and stocks.I have started to wonder about the KING ratcatcher the valve and hammer must be totaly different .Is the tube that holds the co2 bulb on the 2240,2250 redundant on the KING ratcatcher ,and left there to hold the forend grip .

    I have thought of making one of these for years.So I have ordered a spy camera and a 3.5 inch monitor to experiment with .25 quid .I have ir lights. I was thinking of using a car revesing kit but it has a wide angle lens in the camera and thought that may be a problem . Has any one tryed this ????.Also thought of using a baby monitor.

    looking at the guns pictures it looks gamo..ish .maybe gamo sights fit or another gun .

    You may have got some dirt in the valve where you fill the gun so the valve wont shut .I have never taken that part of the gun apart so not sure how it works .Did you fill with a pump or dive bottle .If you filled with pump to fast you may have damaged the valve with heat.The valve may just not be seating right like the theoben bottle valve sometime they close and sometimes they dont .A bit more refilling may reseat the valve or blow out dirt .IF YOU ARE LUCKY.But if the problem started after a refill and you didnt get the pressure WAY to high the problem almost has to be the filler valve.

    If the barrel is bent a little the pellets should still group.if the pellets dont group you may have a bad crown .lose barrel or lose sights as a starting piont .

    I have made a bit of scope rail out of 20mm x25mm x 10mm piece of ally.works 100 persent.

    I have a lightning and 97k .The 97k is by far the better rifle .

    If I am hunting at different ranges 177.At a freinds garden.. we shoot 25 to 35 yards only and I use a parker hale dragon ,for the fun of it.It is a 22 wish it was a 177.

    I havent got the gun yet ,but looking at the pictures of the gun . The scope seem to mount to far forward also .I feel a solution may be to make a little bit of scope rail out of aluminium and fit that in place of the rear open sight.Then use the two pro blocks together to mount the front scope mount .......This will stabalise the scope a bit and bring it back also .MAYBE.

    Theoben make a gasram under lever with a magazine.You have to cock the gun for each shot .I do wonder how this system stop you dry fireing your gun when the mag is empty.To load a pellet one at a time is not to hard ,I have guns with and without mags ,mags are not that good .Some times you forget to look if they are empty ,[you shoot a blast of air at rabbit] ,on my hw 100 if you forget to engage the mag you shoot one shot ,shot 2 is a puff of air .[you shoot a blast of air at rabbit.].The theoben mags damage the skirts on soft pellets .desroying accuracy .[you may as well shoot a puff of air

    or mabe put a few more grub screws in the standard plastic breach

    The drop in ones like for bsa lightning ect are good only for a short time .So no good .Theoben seem like a nightmare to get parts to repair your gun.Your gun has to go back to them for repair a big expence.So your left with the HW 90 .I havent shot one ,but if I was getting a gas ram that is what I would get .I think theoben has some input into the hw 90, but parts for the gun are avalible from chambers,I think.

    there is a silentser with this gun at present I havent seen it yet ,so no open sights.I may go for the steel breach yet I have some taps dies and a crap lathe at home .I was thinking of a few grub screws in the plastic barrel band or making one out of ally or steel or brass.but when I say epoxy I mean a big lump.I feel any seals ect will not be able to be changed.The pro blocs barrel and cilinder will be burried in it .

    I need help .I am getting a second hand ratcatcher cheap. I know they are made of plastic so parts move arround making sighting hard.[impossible] .The gun is for my mates 8 year old so I will shorten the stock a bit, maybe, have to see.I was thinking of jioning the barrel ,problocs and co2 cilinder together with epoxy resin .[chemetal metal putty ect] as a CHEAP FIX to stableising the sighs .The gun is not going to be a treasure but it would be nice for it to be accurate ....Any suggestion in this area would be of a help .

    I have found all these strange pellets are GREAT if you want to miss at 10 yards + they are the daddies.

    The main spring may have snapped or piston seal may be damanged or loose.Check the breach seal is ok .
