    point i was trying make is in that situation they should have stopped me and detained me untill they could prove that i was not the person they were looking for,no matter what my age. i go hear there and every where with my rifle and have for many many years always on foot or by public transport as i dont drive,i have never been stopped,but the one time they should have they dident. sorry if it was a little confusing hope it clears thing up a little as to what i was trying to say Andy

    i was once going to my derbyshire permission.takes 2 busses and around 2 houers. got in to the middle of nottingham and the bus was stopped just short of town,apparently they had reports of an armed man and there were choppers cars dogs the works every where the place was swarming, thing was we had to get off the bus and walk through it all to get to the bus station for the next bus. by this time the then missis was in bits crying shakeing convinced i was going to be jumped on any minuet by the armed responce,must admitt was exspecting it my self. dressed in normal clothes but with large c

    there all very good guns, iv had the pleasure of shooting them all, however the hw is like carrying a dead body round the rapids also a little heavey and the mags are crap save your self a good few hundered quid and get the aa, just as accuret just as powerfull less weighty and a damm site cheeper. just my thoughts.     hi there pal the smk are sometimes under rated rifles, mainly due to the fact the smk import the b2 and db4 cheep ass chinese rifles and they dont have a very good reputation, however the other smk rifles are very good for the money they cost,there bad name is just people not being able to get past the b2 db4 rep. the syntarg is up there power wise around the 11flb mark thus will have no problem dropping the rabbits as you have found, me personaly i dont like the looks of said rifle,i just cant get past the shark fin and cut out butt. but thats personal prefferance. get her run in

    took the x camping once as she moned all the time that i would dissapear for long weekends leaving her all alone, "well if youd camp or shoot ya can come with" well fine she says you can take me camping but no guns.     no probs mate, i was supprised my self at how much more the pull through got out. was only a couple of weeks ago that we tried this,was after the hunting/camping in the snow weekend so wanted to make shure the rifle was proper clean and dry due to being in the snow for 2 days. Andy

    hi there mate. i was using the shot through pellets the other day,yes they get a fiar bit out, however, my mate used them in his daystate and then went on to use a napier pull through kit, the pull through got loads more out even after the shoot through. so by this simple test id say get the pull through mate. atb Andy

    The x, see the avatar. stunning gal but a pain in the arse when it came to guns and shooting. took me about 2months to convince her to let me have the gun even in the house.     Hi lads was a grate night out was that, nice one andie for getting the pics up, the bunnies werent playing that night, mind you it could have been sat next to me and i wouldent have seen it for all the snow,still over a foot deep in the feilds bordering the woods. the fire tested us big time was a right pain to get going. glad you all like the pics, were not mad were just derbyshire lads, we'll camp in any weather. and yes it a smk mod19 that i lent to mark for the night. all the best lads.     mornin lads thanks to you all for wishing me well. i do think its going to be a bit of a challenge for my camping / servival skills. all the basics like the fire will be more difficult than they have been befor, but its a test i'm happy to take. not shure how much im going to shoot theres well over a foot of snow up there,so even seeing a wabbit will be a bit of a challenge. like the idea of the igglo and the tennis rackets though, but Tony im not even going to begin to think what im going to need tampons for.. well if the hunting fails theres always sledging and a snow

    sweeney im with you on the petrol thing mate, i would normally only use a lighter and what i can find,but on this occasion im playing it safe, so the petrol is coming with.lol and thank you for wishing me well pal, ill be a safe and warm as i can be. tony base jumper had some jell stuff simmler to that not so long ago and it works a treat dont it. but me and andie (base jumper) dont like to carry anything so we do all our cooking on the open fire just take a grill and some foil job done. when we camp we take as little as possiable,you will often find us makeing knifes forks

    hi MUM.....ooops sorry wurz...lol ill be in the bivvi mate,dont do tents.an if i could have got the time off work id have been up there all week already. i sharnt be getting there till around 7ish all being well so it going to be a case of getting the fire going pronto. i reckon a £5 worth of petrol will do the trick,mr axe and silky saw will do the rest. will get some pics this time,forgot the camara other week. sounds like your going to have a fun week there mate, this weather will test even the most diehard of campers. all the best lads, and think of me saterday

    nice read was that Tony. your as daft as me.lol sounds as tho you had a lucky escape there pal. i will be alright where im going as iv been wandering around that land since i could walk, i think i no every branch tree root dip and rise in the ground.and ill have a couple of very good mates there just incase. with that said tho the snow has a way of making everything different. going to have a look at the forcast now see how many degrees of minus in likely to be in. just might take the sledge just to add to the fun. just call me a big kid.     im also a huge fan of the 707 had one myself many moons ago, and every time they are talked about i have to take myself out side,and give myself a swift kick in the backside for selling it. even limited to 12flb it was an awsom rifle. atb Andy
