Very rarely i see a hen bird hatch out and manage to raise chicks up here mate. Weather obviously a big factor. But this year in the rearing field i heard that distinctive cheap of young chicks that are lost. My immediate thought was that they had escaped out a small hole from one of the sheds. I followed the sound and eventually caught 1, then 2, then 3 until out of the blue a hen came running at me, wings down, cheaping away. So i put them back down and left her too it. From a wee distance i could count six. Never seen them again and there is a hen that is constantly staying around the rear

There are many people who will cross the golden with the Lady Amherst, however the colour of legs and eyes are the give away...there are many others to look out for. Not had a Golden that was not fertile, I find that most Goldens are VERY fertile. When you say "They Never" do you mean the hen not sitting on eggs, or the eggs were candled and showing not fertile? The eggs weren't fertile but the hen never sat for very long either. I was given the pair so I don't even know how old they were: I was told they were young, but who knows. Used to feed vitalin but one day the guy that delivers it had none left and i changed to Coby dog, its £12 for 15kg. I thought i recognised it as a shit make but i've been really suprised. You could pick there shite out with your hands and the 2 big dogs are pretty much dry and white. Its 21% protein but i'll be adding meat when they start working in a month or so...

I'll invite you down sheffield when wednesday play united its nothing but hatred on both sides. a few seasons ago when we played united a couple of my Stoke mates came up for it and they said they've not seen anything like it.
