It's even better when its not a gundog, my old border (and his dad) showed a few labs etc up on the shoots. He was also fond of throttling black labs in the beaters trailer too Cant see the funny side of that actually, sounds like a f*****g nuisance. I'd be interested in seeing it grab one of mine.............WHALLOP!!... you should lighten up a little then black labs cause more scurmishes at shoots than most other breeds And there a pain in the arse as well. No c**t likes them or there owners.....they would get the stick over the napper tae!!!

You know what that is mate.....greed!! Not interested in picking the bird these folk without dogs, just interested in shooting and getting to the next drive. Thats why nowadays id rather pick birds than shoot them...

Not sure if it bothers you lurcher lads but if anyone gets my pups a squeaky toy the first thing i do is poke the squeak out. You dont want a gundog biting on a toy till it hears a squeak as it might do this with game and make it hard mouthed. I know some of you guys like your dogs to retrieve rabbits alive and this method would help a bit...

Let me guess.......money was on the table and you were dormy 3........... mate i've never been so scared, and i would'nt mind i was set to take the dough made up for it this year 16 of us £20 a head and won 2 out of 4 A guy i used to work beside took a heartattack on the golf course a little while back. He was on the tv on one of these emergency programmes, air lifted to hospital. Think he died 3 times on the way...basically his mate saved his life by doing CPR...........better of not knowing whats round the corner mate....
