Bit of useless information I was doing a bit of reading on tinter net not so long ago it was saying the launch of 4strokes in motor cross was the worst thing that could of happened to the sport they said soon as the teams started switching to 4strokes blokes that were privateers packed in a lot of teams made there riders say 2smokers were wack and slow Jo public believe it but it was all a marketing ploy by manufacturers because 2smoke was a cheap form of racing bikes were relatively cheap new if they went pop they could be repaired quickly it was all a ploy to boost sales through dealership f

Never been a prepper but can’t see no reason not to be prepared for anything in some way shape or form tbh but these people that tell everyone there a prepper an make a big deal out of showing all there gear plus showing people what they have were it’s kept is a stupid idea because if shit really hits the fan there the first getting turned over people change in times of desperation and hardship.

That was the cluelite 50w bulb standard put a 100w in without changing the backing to the alloy one you would get melt down

Long gone are the days of the old cluelite converted to a blazalite 100w bulb alloy backing no adjustment just a flip up filter as the mod con I used to use the 170 copy with dimmer it was running a 100w bulb I used to run the dimmer 3quarter open an the head adjusted half way I found was the sweet spot for me an my eye sight I’d not miss spotting stuff that way the amount of times I’ve lamped with others over the years an they have over looked stuff because there lamps were set up wrong they had a strong bulb an the head wound so the beam was so tight it was like they could burn the fi

I think campers are grate only problem with the swb conversions is if there’s more than one of you an the vehicle needs to be used for more than just a camper like picking items/stuff up there waisted economy your better off just keeping them a box van an using blow up beds in them an using plastic storage bins for camping stuff instead off rock an roll beds and having fixed units that take up all the space

I’ve had good catch dogs over the years be straight lined by various quarry that I thought was sure things and in the bag it’s the luck of the draw on the day/ night nothing is a sure thing in the running dog game I guess that’s why I’ve never been a betting man when it comes to betting on working dogs

Beddy xs can be tough on the old brain at times but once you actually become mates you understand each other and are on the same page the partnership becomes lovely. Something I’ve found over the years with beddy xs you may or may not have much of a bond but once you start with some work be it a bit of ferreting or a couple of slips on the lamp a bond is starting to be formed and they begin to know what’s expected from them it usually blossoms from there because you are a point of interest to the dog an you get up to some interesting shit together
