    When he jumps up say "NO" in a firm voice and push him back down, take hold of his front feet and place them back on the ground. Let him know he wont get a fuss made of himself up there, only when hese on the ground. The "wait" hand signal can also be used. As he approaches put the your hand out, palm towards him. This can mean "sit", "stop", "stay" etc. He should drop on the spot. Allow him to calm down 1st then call him in.

    Flints a b*****d! It seems to me youve been lucky, flint can and does cut like a razor especially when a lurcher hits it at 30 plus miles an hour. It can easily go straight through tendons and if it does that its game over. 1st clean only i use hydrogen peroxide. Only for the first clean though cos after that all it does is open the wound up again. Then dry it and dab some sudocrem onto it and bandage it. 2nd clean onwards i use tea tree oil then sudocrem and bandage. Bad cuts can be superglued or stapled (i wouldnt want to use staples on a pad though!) but if your not totally confident in you

    Looking at the head i would say saluki, looking at the body shape i would say its got grey in it and with the hight it could well have some deer in it. From what you say i reckon he sounds like a goodum mate. As hese done fox already i agree hese probably been worked in the past. As you got him from a rescue i would say perhaps he was owned by a c**t before and didnt do something as well as the aformentioned c**t wanted (possibly lamping) and as a result got dumped (which is what c**ts do with dogs they dont want) which would be how the rescue got hold of him.

    Personally i dont give a f**k what their excuse is, if someone shoots MY dog the local fire service would get there to late! It does happen, usually its a keeper or farmer that does it but they must be f*****g stupid to think that themselves and there family will live happily ever after!

    My cousin does leather work and has made me a some collers. They are handmade from start to finish and can have wording on them. I have my dogs names on mine but f**k the ban can be just as easily done. £35 each. Heres one of mine.

    All i ever do is walk my dogs and let them decide for themselves when its the right time. If a rabbit gets up and they go for it then great and if they dont go for it i dont care. The older, more experienced ones will go for it but there just terriers so not much chance of catching! Lol!! Sooner or later the lurcher pup will think to himself "i can do better then those short legged little twats" and next time a rabbit gets up he will go for it and hey presto, a dog thats not put under any pressure does what i want in his own time and gets praised for it and so does it again!

    They need to be frozen for AT LEAST 3 weeks to kill off worms. If your going to cook you dont need to freeze at all.

    Im doing my best not to comment to much on what the c**t needs for treating pups like that for fear of incriminating myself! Good on ya for taking um on mate. I would think your 3 short walks a day rather than my way one long walk a day and a pee walk in the evening would be the best way as they wont be able to handle such a long walk in that condition. They certainly need plenty of good grub giving to um now. Mince, boiled or scrambled eggs, butchers offcuts, chicken, fish and kiddies vitamin pills, kiddies powdered milk, crushed weetabix, cod liver oil capsules and i give mine halibut oi

    I heard somewhere that raw eggs are bad for a dog, dunno if its true or not but its why i always cook mine before feeding it to um.

    I agree mate but were already allowed to use dogs to kill rabbits and rats but not foxes and hares. I know its bollocks and i know its unjust but thats what the twats have done so far, would it be much of a shock if they do it again?

    Rabbits ARE legal but you DO need permission from the landowner. You say the quarry isnt owned by anyone but im pretty sure it IS owned by someone, maybe the local council, maybe "the people" as all land is owned by SOMEONE. Hunting without permission is poaching, simples. The only thing you can argue as far as i can see is that he was just walking the dogs and they happened to either catch or better still just find the rabbits already dead. If it was just one rabbit i would if said they disturbed a fox just after a catch but that aint gonna happen 4 - 5 times in one walk! Lol! Shame to leave

    I think that whoever we get in will be a c**t cos all polititians are! But one things for certain, we cant let labour in again! I would rather have stitches in my arsehole than live another term under that bunch of self serving bellends!     Once a week my dogs, including the puppy get 5 very small halibut oil capsules, 1 (as there bigger) cod liver oil capsule and half a kiddies vitamin pill. They also get fed a lot of raw meat and a handfull of blended up veg along with the occaisional boiled egg and left overs from my dinner and every now and then a small tin of tuna or sardines each. The puppy also gets a bowl of crushed weetabix with half a pint of powdered kiddies milk with a t spoon of gravy added to it for flavour. I find that all of my dogs are healthy and happy, they dont smell etc and their poo is much better than if i
