    brother - sister mating s are not to be recomended 1/2 brother to 1/2 sister is the best mating i found , why dont you put the sire over the bitch you can do father over daughter with great sucsess this way you will still be tight , if you go sister brother be prepared to cull hard its best if you can run them on for 6 months to see all the problems inc kidney problems as this is very prominant in brother sister matings . the best mating would be if the dam has had another litter by a differnt sire or vs versa and theres a good dog in the ofspring and use that over your bitch ie half bro

    i hate to burst your bubble mate but there is no such thing as a PURE BEDLINGTON and as for CT the reason the working bedys doesn t get very often is because they carry hybrid blood , i been around bedlingtons for 50 years and have never know a bedy with lakie blood have ct but ive seen plenty of show/kc style have it and its not nice to say the least and as dave said we all know the lenghs the show set go to with there outcrosses to poodle and bichon etc and this was going on long before my time so i say there is no such thing as a pure bedlington, atb top

    i got 2 of those noisey white things as well , just measured my bedys they stand 13--14 inches high and there all spanable rangeing from 14in to 16 inches but if theres something there just give them a bit of time and they ll get there then the fireworks begin

    a good working bedy is an allrounder they have brilliant noses , but to be honest my bedys are earth dogs as iam not into bushing , bedlingtons arent everybodys cup of tea there a funny old lot they can be a bit sensetive and strange but they have the heart but sometimes you need to bring it out of them were as a pat or lakie can be gun ho from about 6 months and you spend time trying to calm the buggers down , i run a mixed kennel and find the pats can be the fighters the lakies are the wind up merchants and the bedys are the steady eddies but if it kicks of the bedys are in the thick of it,

    well now we have seen all the cute fluffy ones lets see the workers or check out sj s thread working bedlingtons and see some workers fence hopper is more into bedy lurchers than working bedlingtons

    myself and mikey chepstow dig to bedlingtons all the time , i amit mine have a dash of fell in them but the main thing is they do the job 3-4 times a week most of mine are mixers but some are a bit more steady , theres a few pic s on swanseajacks thread -- workingbedlingtons

    don t worry mate your not alone ,i to have a special place for all the good dogs ive lost over the years , i take them over the field to under an old ash tree and bury them there and place a slab of stone over them with there name etched in the top and theres a few there now it looks a bit like crazy paving on the other hand any crap or dros ends up in the shit pit over the farm and there a lot gone in there i can tell you atb top

    barryvox pulse and b&f collar light years ahead of anything else out there spot on everytime id certainly recomend it the peips box is ok but its slow and as been said before you tend to drop to the side and on deep dig you can miss the tube
