  12. You never can be sure Lew . They might be out early morning , middle of the night , anytime really . The fact that you saw a few means that they ARE there and thats the main thing . They may be in another part of the fields , it takes time to see the true life style of the rabbit Use your time to your advantage , dont go in to shoot em all , take your time , visit at all different times and you will soon see the patterns . The main thing is , manage what you have , dont leave the place empty hoping that another permission will turn up , but keep the numbers down and ensure theres always a coup

  14. Well it goes like this . Few weeks back , I posted a picture of my new , revamped , MFR . Si had said to me over the last 12 months , a few times , that he is seriously contemplating getting one . Well with all the agro I had with my last MFR , and considering the new one was relatively new to me , I thought i would offer him the use of it , as the Theobens had given me a headache and knocked my confidence . I said to Si , while chatting , that he should use it and give it a real 'test drive' see what he thought , I was fine with that s long as he could leave me with something to poin

  16. Rain don't bother me , or time to be honest . Although it will have a good wipe down when I'm done , its not my rifle to abuse . That's my only concern . Now , there's a big doe rabbit about 40 yds away so you'll have to excuse me . Lol

  23. I wash them in luke warm water with a drop of washing up luqid in . I gently `swirl` them around untill they are clean . Once they have been washed , i run the cold tap on them to wash away the soap suds . I pour the water out and empty them onto a tea towel , gently rolling them around to take away access water . I give them a rol in a kitchen towel and pour onto a paper plate , to sit by the boiler and dry over night . Once im happy that their dry and clean , i have a plastic bag which i give about 5 `sprays` of pellet lube . I carefully empty the pellets into the bag , seal it , and roll
