    Ive been given a Gamo .22 underlever . Ive no idea which model , but the pellet is loaded in a `pop up` pellet tray about half way down the barrel . It needs some work to get it back as it should be ( its rusty and the stock needs doin ) so if anyone has any tips on Gamo`s , or a strip guide it`d be appreciated , Bust .

    Let's put it this way. When I "blueprint" an engine that's what I do, and it makes things work sooo much better. Now if they're claiming to do it to the rifle, then they'd better do it! I think it's possible from my own experiences with JB that he does not use the term because that's not what he does. Otherwise by definition loads of BSA guns are leaving the factory out of design tolerance, which simply can't be right. If it is right, then they should damn well do it under warranty.

    Great guns for short range quarry, took a fair few with mine in the past. I really should think about getting mine back in action.. Yes you should , ive seen what your capable of , you should get it sorted Mal show the boyo`s who`s boss . PS hope all well with you all buddy

    Clean the barrel with a decent pull through . Then re-lead , which should take about 50 or so pellets . To lube your pellets you use a pellet lube ( not just any old oil ) i use napier pellet lube . Get the pellets in a bowl of warm water and 1 drop of washing-up luquid ( only 1 drop ) and gently move them around untill your happy they have all been `swilled` .Take em out and gently pat em dry , pour slowly on a tea towel and pat em with kitchen roll untill as much water as possible is gone , then sperad em out on clean kitchen roll and leave to dry in a warm place overnight .     Get it over a chrony , no other way is worth doin . For example if you get it taken to be checked and it turns out over power, do you think the police will take seriously the way you`ve tested for power , or will they laff their bollox off ??
