  1. A tad headstrong with one brain cell .......the rest of the rabble were all pretty laid back and even employed a bit of caution when bombing round a wood chasing another pup. He'll steady up in time. Good luck with yours!
  2. If mine looks like that in a couple of months I'll be pleased...........if he's still alive that is, there's only gonna be one winner between a tree and a dog! Lol
  3. Nothing wrong with a fat pup mate, they soon start shaping up!
  4. Looks a nice type mate, how old??
  5. He's fine with ferrets at home, but on his first ferreting trip he nailed my mates good Jill as it walked past us, thankfully he was on the lead so there wasn't a dead ferret, he just a pretty forward inquisitive pup, so I I'll wait for him to steady up a bit first.
  6. Oh, just to point out that the bunny was half grown aswell, just to give a bit of perspective. They all count though and the ferrets don't don't care!
  7. I wear the trousers....... She just decides what colour !
  8. Thanks, but he'd do the same with a bloody ferret aswell at the moment, given the chance......
  9. Home from work and due to the clocks going back it's just getting dark when the dogs get their evening walk on the fields out the back so imagine my surprise when I here the stuble snapping and then a half hearted screech......yes, you've guessed it, the idiot managed to bump into a myxi in the gloom. 6 months isn't what I'd call an ideal time to be catching rabbits but hey, I'll take it. His retrieving went right out the window for a short while but carried it home when put back on so well done Fred.
  10. It's his dog to sell....... Justified! Good luck in finding a home for the pup!
  11. Have you got the measurements mate? Cheers, matt
  12. Vile woman! I don't think I could have kept my composure faced with her horrible lies.
  13. Nice push iron mate...... Very tempted!! But if I have another bike just sitting in the garage the mrs will go nuts! Good luck with the sale! Matt
  14. Oh...... And don't try to get off with the only "single" bridesmaid...... Her girlfriend won't be too pleased so I'm told!
  15. I left it till three days before the wedding.......thought I could wing it, then realised I couldn't! Never experienced fear like it, Just remember , don't ruin the wedding as the best mans speech is the only reason people turn up.....it's all up to you to entertain..... No pressure !!!! Matt
  16. I'm in the midlands aswell gibbo and I agree that there is a definite decline in rabbit numbers. I think rabbit numbers go in cycles and that we are in the crap part of that cycle. My dogs are shite anyway so it dosnt matter how many rabbits there really! Matt
  17. I've got a wheaten/grey x whippet, 9 years old now and in semi retirement due to a few health issues..... Same dam as cleanspades i do believe (whippet) 22" ,19 kg, a good honest dog for me but no world beater. Cheers, matt A good few years ago!
  18. I hope my collar order won't be affected. Lol
  19. The mrs has expressed a desire to learn to shoot since she caught him trying to snaffle the chicken on the side......even I ain't that daft. I'd be gone before the dog!
  20. Bloody pot lickers...... I'm bringing mine back! I'll pay you to take him
  21. Looks like the chase to me..... You'll get even more mating pics if you go after dark! Lol Great pics!!!, Matt
  22. In my very humble opinion a big old smelly dog fox in December/January with his blood up and fanny on his mind is a whole different ball game to the daft saplings in September, I owned a beddy/whip x grey(23",19kg max) who took to em with fire and brimstone.....he was bought in as a ferreting dog, but showed he had the minerals, although he'd never finish the job as quick as a purpose bred dog, but handy when needed. Cheers, matt
