Wouldn't class Mayweather as a big puncher bracken but in fights like Gatti,Coralles,Marquez,he wore those guys down with the volume of punches he threw,and made good respected fighters look like they'd just got the call the night before,I hate to see him be overly defensive cause when he does come to fight he's as exciting as anyone. Guess he's disciplined when it comes to sticking to his tactics. Agree Gnasher it's all about preference,and would never say that Hagler won either,I just think it was so close,a real hard one to call so I'm gonna stay on the fence for this one.

Always respect your opinion Gnasher but imo Leonard didn't dominate Hagler,can't count how many times I've watched that fight and still can't decide who won,a good start and a classy finish from leonard but Hagler chased him and put the pressure on All the way. Read Leonard's book a wee while back,good read and hard too believe someone with so much natural talent was so unsure of himself going into certain fights. Never seen a pet bred dog any good when it comes too work. But seen a few and owned two aggressive(towards people and dogs)working bred dogs do the job,and do it well.

Holyfield was a super boxer,he had everything,and Tyson was one of the most exciting fighters ever,the guys a living legend(he would have been regardless of the bad press and daft things he done). Think it's an absolute farce,the guy(seems a nice fella)through the power of celebrity,gets top of the bill,sells out a big venue and makes plenty of gelt in the process by beating easy pickings. He'll have a few fights,nothing to take him out of his comfort zone,then quits, when theres men out there dedicated there lives too the boxing and will never earn in a career what this guy gets out of a few fights. Great win for the Celts,they fought hard for every ball and a great substitution by Lennon made a massive difference. Had a good laugh in the hotel lift this morning with a few Barca fans,telling them to "enjoy the Europa league",wee Cnut came straight back with"no way,we see you in the final",with a cheeky smile on his gob. Don't no how to upload on iPad,round 4 of Earle v Katsidis was a great round of recent years in British boxing,remember watching the fight and how Mickey vann nearly stopped it a stack of times,he was in and out like a pornstar,Earle was well beat that night but showed great courage to go on as long as he did. Also Hagler v Hearns round 1 is widely regarded as one of the best of all time.
