Had problems over here too, my local river the Moyola is just becoming a very good river through alot off money being spent and time through the anglers.theres a good headd off resident trout up to 1 1/2 lbs, good run of grilse and salmon. and now at last a very good run off dolegan.(large brown trout which feed in lough neagh and spawn in the river). Last year and now this year these eastern tubes have moved in and are taking everything, if they hook a fish and they get it to the bank its a goner. Now i don't know about you but a 6in trout is know use to anyone. they take tham all. And NOW

  9. Went to a farm today were they are having problems with cattle stepping in burry entrances. Put the collar on my Hob and sent him into the first warren a couple of seconds latter the usual thumping and banging around began, much to my dogs delight. Out bolted the first rabbit duely lifted by the dog. next one had the same fate. All went quite so i checked to see were the ferret was. No problem the locator picked him up wright away. Off i went to the next one, put the ferret to ground, and waited, a single rabbit bolted missed, by the dog i must add. So after a few minutes i searched for the ho

  13. I've been told before my dogs are no good, one fella said he would never try one off my dogs because it didn't have any marks on its nose, not the point its never been stupid enough to be bitten. I admit there not the best dogs in the world but im happy with them the way they are, if your happy with them and they do your job with 110% effort. I don't think you need anyones remarks. wouldn't worry about it.
  14. My personal preference but for your type off hunting, many would disagree but a straight whippet/greyhoud. Whippet i found have a bit of intelligants. Any i've seen will readly take a fox from there second season. Fantastic in rabbit. day or night, or too ferrets. But that onlys my views.

  19. This is my 9 Month old Pup (vixen), She's a 3/8 5/8's bull cross. Hasn't seen anything yet. i would be gutted to see her go but it would be better for her. There is another Three dogs here and i am running out off time with all of them, My wife wanted a gundog, so now its here something has to give. She's a well natured dog, 22inches at the minute.(this is a old picture) strong dog and very game. She's good with other dogs. She's been out with me lamping with my other dog and never opened up. If anyone is interested i would like her to go too someone with more time than me.
