i have 4 dogs that all sleep together in a 6 x 4 sleeping area, they have 2 large dog beds an old working jacket, old fleece jacket, duve cover, a couple of bedding covers that the mrs donated,lol, plenty for them to get bedded down into and all this is surrounded by 2 1/2 inch polystyrene inside 9mm ply.

i think the dog will either jump or it won't, yes you can train it to jump, but in my opinion if the dog can see an easier way it will use it. Still handy to have it jumping when need be though.

what you have to remember is, your pup has been taken away from all it has ever known since it was born, it's litter mates, mother and safe/ comfortable enviroment, it has then been put into a kennel on it's own. Give it a few days and it should settle in, can you let it out the kennel into your yard during the day to walk about? if so, i found this to work well to stop them whining during the day, at night try putting a radio in the kennel, if that doesn't work, try the hose, but don't soak the pup, spray the hose a couple of feet away from it, after a couple of times doing this it

this must be the worst bit of advice i have seen on THL. don't know about a dog going from hard mouthed to soft, if anyone has done this, it would be interesting to hear of their training method.

i think 6pack should give him a deadline to sort out the dog (although he doesn't deserve that) after that, then she is well entitled to do what she wants with the dog, don't think i would trust him to pay up though.
