    hllo, expect to loose 20%, so if he wantin 6x50-100 bird days buy in 800 imho, the layout has to be adequate, to hold and drive birds. not much woodland from what you described. birds like to roost out of the elements. do the neighbours hold shoots as you could gain and lose birds, p.s... most farmers i no will take the sugar oot ya tea, so run some costs by him first. 20 years back we were charging $31.50 + vat per bird,,, atb

    this lads only couple of mile from me, and with the bunnies short on the ground i think its hard to pick and choose runs, and there aint any easy rabbits wi half the county lampin/moochin/ferretin em. but agree finish the dog until nxt season and take frm there..

    years back ordered and collected an black/tan bitch off g midltn, collected pup at 8wks brung home to a fresh straw, partitioned kennel and run, didnt fuss over her and settled her in. following morn up sharp to check and no pup bowling out to greet me, squeeked her still nowt. checked her kennel and my old fell bitch kennel where i found the pup stone cold under a layer of straw, me old fell the jealios lttle fxxk she was had getn to the pup, culled and tried to hide it, after all the repairs to the runs/kennels to prevent this, the half blind bitter ole girl still got threw.

    WE CALL THEM. BITS, OPEN THE POULTS BEAK, AND PLACE AN HORSESHOE SHAPED PLASTIC RING INTO BOTH NOSTRILS AND UNDER UPPER BILL. PREVENTS BIRDS FROM HOLDING WHAT THEY PECK. STILL FEED AND DRINK OK.

    always hand fed, an always kept same tune for each wood, (led zepp, STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN) :tongue2 you get to see your birds, triple fed @ xmas. or day off, double feed.
