PS have you seen the notice in 'Important Notices' about the green - country debate in Galway? they taste the same, just have less meat as they are single breasted as opposed to double breasted like the commercial breeds or meat breeds like norfolk bronze green country debate? hadnt heard, will check that out now

    im still in shock.... my working collie bitch was spayed a few days ago, short while ago she tore open her stitches and tore her guts badly. had to pts..... best working sheepdog ive ever had, im pretty much devastated.

    i will be doing that but the man who's terriers id like a bitch pup off isnt having another litter for quite some time so im taking a risk with a bitch that caught my eye even if she is a bit bigger than my comfort zone and a fair bit older than id like. if those are her only faults they are something i can live with. im interested in her bloodline. its not essential but it is interesting.

    next time they'll be more cautious and your likely to be being watched. their nature is they've seen something they want and they wont stop until they get it... have you a trusted family member you can leave dogs with for a couple of weeks?

    i take it your talking about westmeath hunt terrier show. i was there and yes there was a brilliant turnout with some really nice working dogs... i knew a few of the people there. very few from my area though. i could get a top class bitch pup easily but there was only 1 bitch in the 2 litters my mate had this year. he had 2 booked already so i left it at that. ive had offers of pups for nowt from men i respect but im looking for something specific . im taking a risk with this bitch and its my money i'll lose if it doesnt work out. i'll get a pup from a particular dogman with excellent dogs a

    im not that familiar with the strain. hence why id like to see pics. most of the patts/fells round my way are gould or nuttal with maybe a dash of something else in their strain

    Hello mate i have buck lines and there as direct from buck as you could really get... the old dogs sire of mine was off max buck . . . .theyre smooth though not rough like yours. . . . mainly big strong dogs no good for small spots or rocks.... they dont start too early or i should say i dont start them early and usually start hard then level out . . . . look at some old topics of mine there all buck stuff not puttin pics up all been seen before. . .     thats an interesting one,,sometimes the only thing that seperates the good from the not so good,,is a personality trait,,on say a litter of 8 you'll get 8 different personalities,some full on some laid back,,it dont mean the laid back pup can throw a cracker,,,or does it..?? my own bloodline of collies is like that. most intelligent pup in my litters could easily go insane if it isnt worked all day every day like my own bitch brilliant worker in her own right and a near genius but has days where shes like a vegetable.... switches off and theres no getting through to her. she was the m
