ive reared pups that for one reason or another havent had as much socialisation as they needed, once i realised the dog was becomeing nervy with strangers i bring them for a crash course in socialisation, i go to a busy city centr with my dog, walk it through the crowds, the dog may panic and resist at first, stop every once in a while to re-assure it, once the dog has relaxed a little seeing all the people go past sit down on a bench in a busy area or outside a busy pub/cafe and drink coffee for a while, ignore the dog except if it shows snappyness or extreme panic then correct or re-assure t

Sad to say Gem, when i first found the poor b*****d he was still alive. Didn't really want to mention it, but thats how i know it wasn't carrion. must have been something wrong with him, bloat perhaps? going by the pic he looks to be about a month old but its hard to tell without seeing it in the flesh, id have given it the knock on the head very fast if there was no gun nearby, the ewe should have been nearby to drive the predator away unless the flock forgot him?

I'll be taking yet another litter from her (10th litter) and pups will be peddled out at £300 a piece, I'll put you down for one mate . I'll warn you though they ain't for the feint hearted . cheap as chips for a pup from that bitch, heard she wins all the pie eating contests at all the gamefairs an tackles wild boar better than an ozzie pigdog

i remember a greyhound trainer telling me to expect to pay around 11k + for a decent sapling and that he charges 70 a week for kennel and training. dont know what the prize moneys like though

the 2 boxes are only on the ground cause the neighbour at the back of me got a rotweiller recently and when i had them raised the terriers were nearly scaling the wall behind them to get into him but thrust me that will be sorted very sshortly as in roofing the runs its easy to put stuff off for another day, my 2 fells are living in a massive kennel i built to house my old german shepherd although its big enough to house 2 great danes, and my grass dog run looks like a jungle life of a critic is easy.

just for those who didnt see the original topic, this bitch who will be about 18mths now and was stolen by a traveller from a well known co.galway family back in january. if you see this bitch for sale anywhere this is a heads up to lads that she is pretty much worthless as anything other than a pet, she has no prey drive whatsoever and is very loud in the kennel. im not really bothered to have her back but if you are the new owner just give me a heads up and as long as you dont plan to breed her or peddle her on i'll have no objection to you keeping her. no money involved.

saluki/deerhound/coursing grey/ bitza dog, looks like a mix-coat saluki, dog is the ugliest ever i seen, he brings everything live to hand, obviously im not talking about stuff that bites back, he has a unbelievable jump and the most spectacular thing he caught once was a half grown fawn, he pinned it to the ground until help came, not a scratch on it. i saw the video, he was bred by a mate of mine but belongs to a mate of his, only just discovered the mother of the dog was sold lately, if i knew he was thinking of selling her id have bought her and repeated the mating with the sire again in t

ive reared some pups on barf and they've done well its a hard balance though. at moment im favouring gain puppy and sapling complete biscuit (greyhound) pups seem ta do very well on it, great shine to their coat
