    its in holbeach lincs isnt it? heard its a good little show, holbeach is a nice little village, plenty of accomadation and some great fish and chip shops, (best one used to be on the main street).

    my dad has had cancer, im not one of those fakers who changes their opinion on someone just because they died in order to make themselves look better. the man did an enormous amount of damage to my friends and family and neighbours with his "budgets" while throwing millions at the banks

    the lad at work sells them to us for £1:30 a dozen so im guessing its not going to worth my while really,thanks for the info appreciate that prices of feed in england are probably cheaper feed wise, geese are a great investment, mine dont eat much grain, they pretty much live off the grass.

    you could probably get away with 3pound a week, if you were rearing young birds for the table it would be a few pound more depending on age and quantity, as you would be feeding them on chick crumb then onto broilers,

    think what he may have meant is that its cheaper to feed more birds as you would be buying bulk bags of feed rather than the small more expensive bags if i was starting out id buy 3-4 hybrid layers, 1-2 silkie x hens to hatch eggs and run them with a cornish game cockeral so that the offspring from the hybrids would be fairly good table birds. i wouldnt hatch any of the silkies eggs as the offspring would have black skin and be unsuitable as table birds

    ferrets lurcher snares id like to take up fishing im rearing my own pigs this year growing a lot of my own veg and potatoes have eggs from my own hens ducks and geese meat from surplus roosters/drakes/ganders venison from when i go out with the lads shooting turf from the bog for burning as fuel for the house wood for lighting the fire from my own trees soft fruits from my own cultivated bushes and im thinking of making my own beer and wine this year looking into the idea of growing tobacco for my husband
