    she is 6 month now i would start her as soon as this season starts she will be mature enough then mate because whippets mature at and early age anyway just get her retriveing rabbit skins and other things till the season starts and then she should be ready mate atb with her

    nearly every saluki cross ive seen is ignorant i had 1 and i was ripping my hair out it took the piss to much so it had to go it only ran when it wanted to and it was hedge shy these crosses are no good unless you have a lot of patience

    thanks for ya comment mate i put the dog on the tredmill on the morning and then go for a good long walk in the afternoon about 3 or 4 mile the dog loves goin on the tredmill as soon as i shout him he comes running in the shed and straight on to it canny mad

    i always start my dogs at about 7 half to 8 months old i rather start them off lampin because ive seen a couple of my mate dogs get took out ferreting when they are pups and let them hunt up to get courses and when they start them off at lamping they take the piss coming in because they think they hav to hunt up for there rabbits so i start them off lamping so as soon as the lamp gets turned off they come straight back and the same happens in day time bacuse when they miss they no to come straighht back
